My powers come from a source called the Darkness. It's about as bad as the name implies. It lives in a lake in a town called Bright Falls. It brings creative works to life. Now some of it has followed me here.

Not exactly. It possesses people who can create. Words are the strongest and can cause the most damage. That's why it honed in on me. It wanted me to write it into existence.

you can't really do anything important about it but i use it to fuel my resentment

i guess the easiest way to put it since i can't show you is change powers at will
but i can't do it at all anymore
instead i control machines with my brain
which i guess isn't an awful tradeoff
