Well--
[The woman filming herself today looks a little bit overwhelmed, but she's trying to hide it. She has a photo ID badge pinned to the sweatshirt she's wearing, and if one looks really closely, they might be able to make out that it identifies her as a federal inmate by the name of "Doggett, Tiffany".]
I been told some about what's going on here, so I'm pretty sure I'm talking to an entire city right now. Right? Am I right?
[She pauses like she's waiting for an answer; then, realizing she's not going to get one while she's still broadcasting, she continues on.]
I was pulled outta gen pop and brought here, so what I'm wondering is if that's a normal thing to happen to people. This some kind of new rehabilitation program? An early release for good behavior? 'Cause they set me up with a job and a nice apartment, so that's kinda what it sounds like to me.
[She's all set on the where, and hast at least a vague idea of the what - it's the why that's eluding her.]
And that's fucking great, you know? The government wants me to work for them? I gotta say, I never thought I'd get any kind of government job offer. Just gotta stay registered, they said, and I'll stay happy and free. I never heard a deal sweeter than that.
There ain't actually people that turn that down, right?
