Good evening, everyone. I hope you're doing well.

If we haven't met before, I'm David Xanatos, founder and CEO of Xanatos Enterprises. I have a couple of things to discuss tonight, so please bear with me.

Firstly, I'm happy to announce that I've taken over the role of Director at Xavier's School for Imports outside of Heropa, filling a more financial-oriented role with the always-capable Robert Callaghan as Headmaster. Import youth of all ages who would like to learn more about controlling their powers or who simply want a student body filled with people like them are welcome to enroll at any time, and we're always hiring for teachers and staff positions.

Secondly, I'm looking for science-minded individuals to collaborate with myself and Tony Stark in the design and construction of a state-of-the-art, multi-billion-dollar research facility near De Chima. The sole stipulation is that any discoveries made there be made available for others to build on, for the advancement of all.

I'll be happy to take any of your questions in the meantime.

The one and hopefully only. I advised Hiro not to speak to them, but he's a stubborn boy.

[If Hiro Hamada listened to the "don't"s people said to him (people usually meaning Tadashi), then things would definitely be simpler.]

[She might be starting to spazz out a little.]

I'm speaking to him elsewhere, and he seems very depressed. Has he, ah, mentioned Tadashi much...?

[Because he doesn't want to tell Cass 'Tadashi will still die if he goes home' if she doesn't already know.]

[She goes quiet.]

No, I-- I only got here a week before they went on their trip, so there's been no time to talk about it. I do know about what happened, with Robert and his daughter, but there's no nice way to bring that up to them. I didn't want to before they left.

... He didn't leave his room for weeks, after the funeral. I know he hasn't healed. Yet, if ever.

[Krei is quiet himself, for a moment.]

Forgive me if this is out of line, but I think Hiro needs counselling. Professional counselling. I doubt he would be receptive to the idea, but his brother being here - as wonderful and miraculous as that is - seems to have exacerbated his earlier depression. He's afraid of losing Tadashi again, and seems to be resigning himself to the idea that he will.

No... I can't imagine he would be, but I think you're right. They were so close. Having him back, after losing him like that...

[She's afraid of losing him again. Every day and night they've been on the trip she's busied herself so she didn't think too much about one of them disappearing while away. She's already heard about the randomness of the porting in and out.]

Are there any, among the imPorts, do you think? I could look for ones among the natives, too, but...

There is a youth center in Heropa. I'm not sure if it's exclusively for imports, but you might be able to find someone suitable there. There's also Jonathan Crane, who I, erm... I don't recommend; he works better with adults, but you might be able to find someone else through him.

The one in Heropa is promising. I think it would be better for somebody to go with him, but it would be hard for them if it was Tadashi...

Who is this Doctor Crane?

Provided Hiro consents, they should allow you to accompany him. Without guardianship documentation, you'll probably just have to fill out some forms.

And Doctor Crane is - he's a psychiatrist who specializes in fears and phobias. A bit of an eccentric, but polite and intelligent. He managed to scare Hiro during one of their earlier conversations, albeit unintentionally.

That's true. There's no documentation here... [That stings a little, but this is no time for that.]

A specialist, huh? But if it's fears, that's probably not what we're looking for. [She's a bit concerned about a fear specialist scaring someone, but there are doctors who work better with certain age groups. That can happen.] Do you know his contact? If he could recommend somebody...

I'll send it over in a moment. Crane's an acquaintance of mine. I haven't used his services, but I enjoy that intelligence of his.

[And here it is.]

[After a pause, he adds,] Are you alright...? I could drop by if you need a sympathetic ear, or perhaps a drink.

[She notes it down. Crane's going to be getting quite the message today.]

Thank you Alistair. And oh, me?

[There's a small, quiet chuckle. The one people laugh when nothing is humorous but it fills the space.]

I'm about as good as I can be, all things considered. But I'm all right -- you've already helped so much, giving me these sources.

[A small smile.]

I really wouldn't mind. I could show you around De Chima? To get your mind off things, and perhaps look at some clothes. If your arrival was anything like mine, your wardrobe must need some filling.

Oh!

[A surprised look, but it's quickly followed by a laugh that's less hollow now.]

Oh, don't you know it. I got here with the clothes on my back and only cat fur to mix up the look! Is this a date, Alistair?

Well, it - yes? [Smooth, Alistair.] I have the address of somewhere we could pick up coffee, if you'd like to start there?

[You give her such an opportunity, she'll take it. She and Honey Lemon each have more social skills than any of the rest of you combined. There's also no apparent trace of the contemplativeness or pensiveness she had earlier -- it's tucked away now, and all that's there is smiles.]

I'd love to! Pick a day, and where would you like me to come meet you?

I have weekends off, so... noon tomorrow? Or Sunday, if you prefer?

[He sends over the address of a nice little cafe.]

Noon tomorrow sounds great. Sunday... I think that's when the boys will be back, but I don't know what time so I want to keep it open.
