Good evening, everyone. I hope you're doing well.

If we haven't met before, I'm David Xanatos, founder and CEO of Xanatos Enterprises. I have a couple of things to discuss tonight, so please bear with me.

Firstly, I'm happy to announce that I've taken over the role of Director at Xavier's School for Imports outside of Heropa, filling a more financial-oriented role with the always-capable Robert Callaghan as Headmaster. Import youth of all ages who would like to learn more about controlling their powers or who simply want a student body filled with people like them are welcome to enroll at any time, and we're always hiring for teachers and staff positions.

Secondly, I'm looking for science-minded individuals to collaborate with myself and Tony Stark in the design and construction of a state-of-the-art, multi-billion-dollar research facility near De Chima. The sole stipulation is that any discoveries made there be made available for others to build on, for the advancement of all.

I'll be happy to take any of your questions in the meantime.

I heard Robert's side of the story about your accusation. I'm extending you the same courtesy.

He didn't leave anything out.

[ And any details Hiro could add would only worsen the tale. ]

All right.

Then imagine that was all anyone ever judged you on for the rest of your life. No way to turn over a new leaf and make amends. Defined by your lowest point, no matter how much you might regret what happened, for eternity.

Most people believe in the concept of redemption. Do you not?

This is different. He did things to his students, and now you want him to teach again? How is that a good idea?

[andgoliath]

He says what happened was an accident, Hiro. I'm having him evaluated and cleared by psychologists. If they find him fit for the job, you'll really have a problem with it?

[microbrobotics]

[ It's not exactly the wrong thing to say, but it touches on a nerve. When he speaks again, the words come out sharp and bitter. ]

It doesn't matter. You won't listen to me and I'm not going, so what do you care any more?

[andgoliath]

For one, you're a bright young man and I personally like you. For another, I'd really rather this be resolved rather than linger and boil over again in the future.

I'm giving him a second chance, Hiro. To make up for what he did. Surely you don't think he's beyond redemption, do you?

[ Earlier? He might have been able to agree with that. Not now, though. Maybe not ever again. ]

I don't know. He's not getting it from me.

Then he doesn't have to.

All I ask is that you don't get in the way of him finding it somewhere else.
