Good evening, everyone. I hope you're doing well.

If we haven't met before, I'm David Xanatos, founder and CEO of Xanatos Enterprises. I have a couple of things to discuss tonight, so please bear with me.

Firstly, I'm happy to announce that I've taken over the role of Director at Xavier's School for Imports outside of Heropa, filling a more financial-oriented role with the always-capable Robert Callaghan as Headmaster. Import youth of all ages who would like to learn more about controlling their powers or who simply want a student body filled with people like them are welcome to enroll at any time, and we're always hiring for teachers and staff positions.

Secondly, I'm looking for science-minded individuals to collaborate with myself and Tony Stark in the design and construction of a state-of-the-art, multi-billion-dollar research facility near De Chima. The sole stipulation is that any discoveries made there be made available for others to build on, for the advancement of all.

I'll be happy to take any of your questions in the meantime.

More faculty wouldn't go amiss, but you're a little young for that. Otherwise, we're fully funded and I don't foresee any problems moving forward.

I don't contest that I have teaching experience, but in light of the varied people who are brought here, you might want to reconsider making full judgments based solely on age in the future.

I'm fully aware that youth and experience or talent aren't necessarily correlated here. That's not the only thing I'd have to consider, though.

High schools can be cutthroat places. It'll be harder for a teacher who's younger to earn his students' respect.

Hm.

[ Instructors at Shibusen can be any age, so long as they're qualified enough; his Father doesn't limit who can be learned from. It's the same reason that technicians have a star ranking when going into the field, once they've graduated. Their assignments are based on skill level, not age. Why wouldn't every school function on this basic logic system? ]

Having not attended a regular school, I'll take your word for that.

What kind of school did you attend, if you don't mind me asking?

My father runs a specialized academy for people with abilities, not entirely different from Xavier's, in the context of my own world.

I see. And 'in the context of my own world' means what, if you don't mind?

I mean in the way that we don't have superheroes like other worlds, and this one does. We have witches, and demonic souls, and other problems. But Father's academy trains those who defend against them.

So practically speaking, much the same, then.

Are you being metaphorical when you say "demonic souls" or are there actually souls that are like that of a demon?

Indeed.

Not metaphorical, no. Demonic, or corrupted souls, occur when a soul is out of balance. [ he considers ] Not necessarily of an actual demon, however. So perhaps it is, in a way, metaphorical.
