For those of you who don't know me, I'm Miles Edgeworth, and I had the misfortune of meeting with our "esteemed" Doctor Crane before he unleashed his research on the university. Seeing as he's still on the loose, here's what I've observed about some of his abilities. Unfortunately, my knowledge is limited, at best. If anyone can elaborate, it would be most appreciated.

1) He has a connection of some kind to crows, and in the past, has used them to spy on others and collect information. He may simply be able to communicate with them, though others have suggested shapeshifting as a possibility. From what I've observed, though, the former seems more likely.

2) He can affect people's emotions with a single touch. In my experience, he was able to instill an almost supernatural calm in me. I do not know if this is the extent of his control, or if he can influence other emotions, as well. It seems that skin to skin contact is required for this ability to take effect, but I still recommend caution, just in case I happen to be mistaken.

While I shared this information with RISE, I apologize for not sharing it with the general public earlier. I also apologize to everyone who was concerned about me and Kay Faraday. I should have announced my presence, and shared what I found out, much earlier.

Speaking of Ms Faraday, she and Franziska von Karma were sent back home earlier this month, for those who missed it. Her own murder of crows seem to be lingering around, though; if anyone is concerned about the differences between her birds and Crane's, please contact me privately.

I remember Ms Hawkeye fighting off a pack of Satanists with a walking tin can, if that sounds familiar to you. There were also...

[He pauses, and sighs to himself]

...elephants.

Ah—yes ... erm ... those.

[ he purses his lips at that and looks as innocent as possible.

don't you have something to say, Loki? ]

[And Edgeworth switches to a video feed, so he can glare at Loki properly - oh, hey, look who got a haircut. It's much nicer than the half bald, half singed look he was sporting last month]

Loki. What aren't you telling me about those?

[ sorry Edgeworth, give him a moment, he's staring at your head.

[Oh for the love of-THIS IS WHY HE STUCK TO TEXT AND AUDIO]

Loki!

[Aaand he slams the table, just in case that didn't get his attention]

[ Loki blinks once, twice and then shrugs partially, tipping his head at Edgeworth like that hadn't gotten his attention. (it did.) ]

Oh, right. I suppose I was there. I suppose those miiiiiight have been mine.

[He furrows his brow, clearly confused]

What other things there were yours, exactly?

[He's guessing it's some kind of superpower, but seriously. Why elephants???]

Oh, I don't know.

I just used my imagination.

[ he pauses. ]

What's with the sudden interrogation?

[Edgeworth's expression goes dark, and he breathes in deep in an attempt to keep his composure]

Crane didn't just gas me. He fed me a steady stream of toxin. When he was away, he had me hooked up to sedatives. But at night...

[He purses his lips together and closes his eyes]

I think it's obvious what he replaced the bags with at night. However, by the end of my... visit, my sense of reality was-

[A sigh]

-it was shaky. Fragile. Even when I wasn't hooked up to the toxin, I couldn't be certain what was real and what was simply a figment of my imagination. So, that's what's with the interrogation.

[He shakes his head, and opens his eyes]

There's one detail that's of vital importance, though, more important than anything else. The men and women that were holding me - I saw them wearing Lucifer's symbols. Pendants. Rings. I want to know if you saw the same.

[ there's a brief moment where he listens, his bright eyes watching the subtleties on his expression, the way he holds himself, as if he were looking for something. whether or not he finds it is a different subject completely. it was hard, and Loki knew that it wasn't as much about the displacement of reality, but lack of control.

it was always about the lack of control. ]

Aye, so I did. Your perception didn't deceive you that much.

[ and he pauses. ]

Reality is a funny thing. For mortals, especially. You think of it in terms of what you can observe, so when the rules change, you're out of your element. Reality has never been about mortal perception—reality is innumerable voices crying out in a chorus of vibration, but that fits together in pieces. What is 'real' and what's not? Maybe it's all real.

Whatever it was, it was yours.

[ strange words of comfort, but he's trying. ]

[While Edgeworth is an intelligent young man, his mindset it logical. Analytical. Logical. He has little patience for the mystical, the esoteric, or the ambiguous. In other words, he has little patience for Loki's comfort. He continues to frown at the camera, before he huffs and shakes his head]

If my reality ever features dancing pink elephants on a regular basis, then it's time to seek a new one. Anyway, you confirmed what I needed to know - and confirmed that our old friend is more dangerous than I thought. He's not just working on his own. He's aiding the worst the Porter has to offer.

[ there's a little smirk on his lips; Edgeworth has an edge, does he? if he takes offense to anything that Edgeworth is saying, it's not apparent. ]

How dangerous did you think he was? I think with a name like "Lucifer" that it would be obvious.

It doesn't matter if someone is a god, a mortal, or the devil himself. We're all bound and limited by the whims of the Porter, and Lucifer is no exception to this. If he's working with other imPorts, though, and uniting them under his banner... well, they can easily make up for each others' limitations.
