So it occurs to me that there are different forces at work here, among even the imPort population. I confess to have no real understanding of these political intricacies, but feel as though it's important to remain aware of the influences permeating our own subculture of sorts. So far RISE and the Justice League have been spoken of in passing, but what are these organizations and are there any others? An overview would be appreciated.
I feel I should also express my thanks to those that met with myself and my colleague last month before the swear-in, as well as to those that assisted us during the event itself. We are most grateful. We've decided to take employment at StarkTech for the time being, where we'll be heading up a new biotechnological division.

It won't hurt you to have a crush, ok. Nice to know we both still, I don't know, notice people after all those years staring at Kaiju guts and numbers and each other. People! People are out here, Hermann! And some of them are damn fine specimens! It's okay to look and to like what you see!

WHAT?! No no no. You do not-- For the record, Claire has a dinosaur. That she is soul-bonded to, or whatever we call this thing now. I thought it might--MIGHT--be useful and I don't know, comforting!, for her to know someone who has also--YOU KNOW--Drifted with a non-human creature!
Just because she happens to be a VERY pretty woman does not mean anything and I'd be just as disappointed if she was far less pretty.
And hey. You win some, you lose some, but at least I tried, huh? Which is more than you can say!
