So it occurs to me that there are different forces at work here, among even the imPort population. I confess to have no real understanding of these political intricacies, but feel as though it's important to remain aware of the influences permeating our own subculture of sorts. So far RISE and the Justice League have been spoken of in passing, but what are these organizations and are there any others? An overview would be appreciated.

I feel I should also express my thanks to those that met with myself and my colleague last month before the swear-in, as well as to those that assisted us during the event itself. We are most grateful. We've decided to take employment at StarkTech for the time being, where we'll be heading up a new biotechnological division.

[He couldn't, and it was something of a sticking point, but that didn't change the fact that he wouldn't display Newton's level of reckless regard for his own well-being. Whether or not that was sensible or selfish was up for debate, because he was dragging Newton with him to weigh the odds the slightest bit in their favor in the end]

[No, Hermann did any necessary swaying years ago, not that Newt hadn't been mostly invested in the cause when he wrote his first Dear Dr. Gottlieb. But perhaps Hermann's best argument for it had been joining the ppdc.
