Since I got here... he nearly ran me over with his car and we've been friends since.

Mostly he was just wondering about me being made of fire.

Yeah, he's just kind of a wild driver. I've been careful ever since.

...Now I'm curious too. Why are you made of fire?

I'm a fire elemental.

It's kind of like how humans are made out of meat. Except with fire.

One of us would have had to be covered with foil. [It was usually her.]

It was a lot easier after the second time I was ported out, though. I could cast flame shield after that.

Oh, no, I can still use it. I guess I should have said I could use it after I came back the second time.

Well, I can't really touch water without getting hurt and if I tried to go swimming in it, I'd probably die.

Jeeze... that doesn't sound easy. But there has some positives, right?

Oh, yeah, definitely! I never get cold, and never need to worry about needing a flashlight or a torch or whatever.

Hey, that's not bad at all! You'd definitely be a good fit for camping! Have you ever tried it?

Yeah, it's pretty good. Nobody has to worry about starting a camp fire since I kind of already am one.

So you wouldn't get upset if someone roasted a hot dog on your fire?

Nah, people have actually done that before.

I'm already going camping with one person soon, but going again another time could be fun.

Some winter camping might be good! We'd definitely be able to stay warm with that.

Yeah, it'd be pretty hard to be cold with a fire elemental around.

Exactly! Though, uh... where would you sleep? Wouldn't want you to have to sleep outside.

As long as it's not raining or whatever, I can do outside. Snow always turns to steam before it has a chance to hit me.
