[The video starts, and it's a face that might be familiar to some but not so familiar to others. It's a super ordinary, super smiley face, and Aunt Cass as she is known has attached her phone to a tripod for this recording. It's a good thing; considering how excited she is, looking like she's just barely holding herself back from bouncing in place, the recording would've had enough shaky-cam to give the first Hungry Games movie a run for its money.]

So!

[But her excitement could only be contained for so long. Her hands make a nice, clear sound as she claps them together.]

Hi, guys! My name is Cass, for those of you who don't know me, and for those of you who didn't know about this, I used to run a coffee shop back home. That is, in San Fransokyo, which is kind of like San Francisco but also like Tokyo. Funny how that works, right? Anyway. [She reels herself back in before she goes on too much of a tangent, bringing her small body up to its fullest height and smiling even wider than before, if possible.]

I'm happy to announce today that at the beginning of next month, on October 2nd, my nephews and I will be opening up the second branch of the Lucky Cat Café here in Heropa! We'll be on the corner of [she names a couple streets here] ready to serve you hot coffee, pastries, and Japanese food if that's more to your taste. Come stop by!

And also... [Here, she chills out a little and relaxes, hands clasped in front.] I used to run the place by myself since our house was right above it, but this time, I'm looking to ask you guys for some help. So if you have any experience or interest in working at a coffee shop, let me know.

I didn't know Hiro and Tadashi were your nephews.

Can't see the resemblance much, you know? I didn't know you knew them either!

Are you taking or teaching those classes?

[He doesn't know if Cass has been told about the age-changing incident; he'll be nice and not get Hiro in trouble if she hasn't.]

We've only spoken before briefly. Hiro helped to answer a fairly important question for me, months ago.

I'm attending the local college in Heropa.

[lasthugs]

[That's an incident that's been kept from her, though even if she found out, it's too long ago for her to make a big deal to Hiro about it. That boy learns his lessons well]

Oh, was he? Well, I'm glad you found your answer then. How are classes for you?

[governorkang]

Very interesting, so far. I'm not sure why I need to take a foreign language, though. I already speak more than one language.

[lasthugs]

That just means you're ahead of the game! Most industries reach multiple nations, so having knowledge of one or more is so advantageous. The states don't have an official language but most people are English-speaking, so it's worked into the curriculum as to accommodate the other nationalities here, I think?

[governorkang]

Perhaps on Krynn. Technically, I don't even speak English; Common and English just happen to be similar enough to get by.

[It's true - his pronunciation of words has a distinctly different pattern and cadence, and occasionally, he has to correct himself and switch languages to speak a word in English rather than Common.]

It's interesting how languages from completely different worlds have similarities like that, isn't it? You speak very well -- and even then, there are the translators to help us when we need it.

[He shrugs.]

Not surprising, when many of the races are not native to just one world.

It simplifies things. I wouldn't mind learning a new language, but it'll take a long time before anybody could communicate.
