[The video starts, and it's a face that might be familiar to some but not so familiar to others. It's a super ordinary, super smiley face, and Aunt Cass as she is known has attached her phone to a tripod for this recording. It's a good thing; considering how excited she is, looking like she's just barely holding herself back from bouncing in place, the recording would've had enough shaky-cam to give the first Hungry Games movie a run for its money.]

So!

[But her excitement could only be contained for so long. Her hands make a nice, clear sound as she claps them together.]

Hi, guys! My name is Cass, for those of you who don't know me, and for those of you who didn't know about this, I used to run a coffee shop back home. That is, in San Fransokyo, which is kind of like San Francisco but also like Tokyo. Funny how that works, right? Anyway. [She reels herself back in before she goes on too much of a tangent, bringing her small body up to its fullest height and smiling even wider than before, if possible.]

I'm happy to announce today that at the beginning of next month, on October 2nd, my nephews and I will be opening up the second branch of the Lucky Cat Café here in Heropa! We'll be on the corner of [she names a couple streets here] ready to serve you hot coffee, pastries, and Japanese food if that's more to your taste. Come stop by!

And also... [Here, she chills out a little and relaxes, hands clasped in front.] I used to run the place by myself since our house was right above it, but this time, I'm looking to ask you guys for some help. So if you have any experience or interest in working at a coffee shop, let me know.

We've talked on and off ever since you guys went on your trip and I risked my life feeding his rabbit! [A fact.] He was nice enough to offer to help when he heard about the café, and we figured it'll be easier for him to work with someone he knows, you know?

And gosh, no, that's too ambitious even for me! I was terrible when I was around Hiro's age, but I started learning how to cook seriously when I lived on my own during college. It's amazing what necessities for survival could do to one's skill!

Okay, okay, point! You're right, though; I didn't know how to cook much until I got here, and then it got... kind of necessary.

[He just hit the college phase a year early, is all!]

Did you do that living-on-instant-noodles thing in college too?

[lasthugs]

Oh, gosh, no. I don't think I ever ate those, really.

I started teaching myself how to cook better near the end of high school, and I've been cooking ever since. Taking in Hiro and Tadashi definitely added to my repertoire, though -- can't raise a kid without learning his favorites, you know?

[khajidont]

Their favourites are usually whatever they grow up with.

[...ah, crap, that's right -- Tadashi at least hadn't been raised solely by Cass. She's so natural with them that he forgets that it hadn't always been like that sometimes. There's a moment of silence as he recognizes his blunder, and soldiers on.]

...um, which means it's good of you to learn! What are their favourites, anyway?

[There's no bite there, none at all. Cass and the boys were completely comfortable with not being mother and sons -- she's their aunt, and they're family. She smiles and waits for Jaime to recover before answering.]

Have you ever seen them make their chicken wings?

Uh... no, can't say I have. What's so special about their chicken wings?

Let's just say when my sister first made it for dinner when I was over I thought I was going to die, it was so spicy.
