[Ho hum, just another day in Heropa. Gabriel is outside for a change, loitering in the street and looking bored for the most part.]
Okay guys, I don't get it. They drag people here to register with the military and then...? Question mark? What exactly do you registered guys even do? I mean there's nothing stopping me from taking a jog to say uh, Thailand and staying there. That kinda makes this whole thing one giant moot point, cause from what I'm hearing there's more unregistered than registered.
Keep on fighting that good fight. Or each other. Whichever makes you more comfortable. Considering the human to other ratio here, I'm surprised it hasn't kicked off already.
[Pauses, he's watching something happening across the street, taking a moment to wince and hunch his shoulders. Oh, whatever that was had to hurt.]
Anyway. I've heard the name Atropos being batted around this place. Someone tell me what the deal is with that nerd being namedropped here?

[To the first question. That's all she has to say about it.]
And apparently Atropos caused some problems before. But that's not surprising.
video.
It should be surprising, trust me on that. What did she do?

[This is coming from a woman who got Ported in exhausted and half-dead a few weeks ago though.]
video
[Poor thing, Gabriel knows how that goes.]
video
[it's k, she's got her sense of humor back]
Seriously though, what do you mean? I'm kind of... new to, like, any of this Superman shit being real.

Atropos is a long story.

Some of us have time, so you should spit the Atropos story out already.

But even so, could they force anyone to fight for them? It is true they bring us here in hope we will aid them, but in the end, there isn't much else they can do but to request it of us. [ but not really demand. Can they really force someone to fight for them? ]
[He really shouldn't be corrupting this one, but at the end of the day he asked a question....Best to tell the truth.] Doesn't look like they can force anyone. They can't even force people to register. Looks like the good old free will prevails.
I know. That's why, even if they'd like for everyone to help, there isn't much they can do. They can still hope someone will, though, and some do; even if it's one, I think they believe it's worth it.

[ 'ASK ME ABOUT TITANS' was going up on a zazzle and he was going to wear that shirt for thirty dollars plus shipping and handling sooner or later. ]
Several of us were already military or retired. Shows at least they aren't completely indiscriminate.

[Gabriel was dead when he turned up here, and he knows it. He's still not sure about 'best thing'.]
For everyone one military, looks like they got two kids and an elephant. Not the best kind of target practice, boy I wouldn't trust those guys with a potato gun.

[ Sure, he didn't, but every word out of this guy's mouth just had that know-it-all undertone. ]
They might not wear a uniform, but no one I've spoken to completely lacked experience they're out here flapping in the breeze.
[ And what in gods name is an elephant. ]
