Uh, right. So, hi. My name's Skye, sorry, been a while since I’ve done something like this. Not that you would-

[Skye wants to turn the video off and start over, but she can't.]

Right. Forgot I can’t exactly start over. So, mine name’s Skye. I come from, well, a lot of places. I work for something called S.H.I.E.L.D., which, apparently, not a lot of people around here are familiar with. We helped protect the public from finding out about superheroes. And no, not just the Avengers.

Gotta be honest, not too happy to be here considering I was brought here against my will. But I know I’m not the only one here.

[Finally Skye pauses.]

Sorry. Kind of went off on a tangent. Is anyone even out there right now?

[Of course the only reason she knew that was because his name popped up as well.]

[Biting the inside of her cheek, Skye straightened up in her bed.]

I thought I told you to leave me alone?

Because I don't feel we should be exposed like this. Like some thing to be feared, or idolized. It could end badly for us.

Fair enough. Everyone in this world, or at least this country, seems to have some sort of magic or another. From what I've seen, I mean. I'm a newbie here too.

About a year and a half. [So yes, to some that seems like a while. Others have been here much longer, though.] You're not the only one who isn't happy in the first few days of arrival.

[Skye had some time to cool off, admittedly. Which is why she hadn't immediately shut off the video feature. Sighing heavily, she looked at his face rather than making eye contact with the camera.]
