T'is the season for over indulgence. And while some of us may decide to spend this holiday season getting drunk and screaming at our family and friends, we can at least all look forward to one reliable and entertaining constant during December: Television. That little light box that's given us Christmas specials, constant repeats of James Bond and a steady stream of seasonal movies. You guys got a movie that always gets you in the mood for holiday cheer? Or I guess a tradition for those of you without TVs back home? Or hell, even some winter tradition for those that don't celebrate Decemberween? Speaking of hell, don't forget to check out The Very ImPortant New Years Eve Show. I'll be making plenty of appearances to promote my show's new season and my general awesomeness.

Because there's nothing to worry about right now. He's doing a show, I'm helping out. Nothing to worry about. He's less likely to turn the world into a living hell while he's doing a show. Consider it a distraction.

But he will be there. On live TV. In front of cameras and hundreds of thousands of viewers. That's like the one time we can definitely know where he is.

Kid, I'm not gonna date him, it's fine, he's not really my type. He and I just have a business understanding. I star on his show sometimes, he stars on mine. Means we get each other's fans, doubles our viewers. Win/win for both of us.

And I work with people like that everyday. I help people like that for money. I know he's been a very naughty boy, the name alone kind of insinuates that, but even the worst people need something from others, and it's not always murder.

why would you help people like that

Because it's my job, kiddo. People do bad things, I help them get out of the consequences for those bad things. That's how criminal defence works. Some people are accused of bad things but didn't do them, I help them too, but if I only helped them then I wouldn't be earning much money. It's the guilty ones that pay the most. People will pay anything for freedom.

[He tried the helping nice people thing. He ended up bankrupt and almost homeless, so he's not in a hurry to 'do the right thing' again any time soon.]

The field of law hadn't existed on the Train. Not like this. Justice had been a far simpler concept, as had right and wrong. Grey had always been fighting for freedom, but to his mind, he had always been on the right side.

He had never been helping the villains.

He had despised Wilford and all he stood for, along with everyone who had sided with him in any way.

So, after a long, quiet few minutes: ]

Well technically everyone I work for tends to be innocent in the eyes of the law if I do my job properly. Thats kind of the point. But I help genuinely good people too! Wrongly accused and all that crap. I help unsettled imPorts too...

That's how the legal system works. Everyone deserves to prove their innocence. You think we'd be better if none of these so called criminals got a fair trial?
