02 || Voice, Backdate to the morning of Jan 12th
Hello everyone. I have a quick question, if you all don't mind.
You see, I’m a little disoriented. Last time I checked it was the 4th of… whatever it is this month is called [elgar’nan why can’t they just use the Thedosian calendar like normal people], and now it’s the 12th. Where did the week go?
Really, I mean that quite literately, where did it go because I can't recall it.

Honestly, I don't even remember a minute of it. ...should I?

You've given me the feeling I missed something while I was gone. Should I ask?

But...some of our friends didn't have a good time.

You're unfamiliar with this world's calendar. How do you measure the days in your own world?

The only thing truly not comparable is one of the systems we have for numbering the years.

This isn't exactly an uncommon occurrence then?
Re: voice;
Yes, it actually happens quite regularly, although no one seems to be able to explain why, or if there's a common thread. It's been something I've been looking into for the better part of a year now. I believe if a link can be found there, it would go a long way to helping decipher the Porter's methods of bringing us all here in the first place.
Action! I hope this works?
And there is a young woman with bright yellow-green hair currently going through said fabric samples with a critical eye, pausing every so often to hold one up to the window, only to frown pensively, shake her head, and return to her search for... whatever she's searching for.]
action; yup, is good!
Wow. How did she accumulate all of this so fast?
He takes a quick look around, bewildered though amused, before addressing the woman busy in the living room. Might as well introduce himself.]
I see you’ve made yourself at home. [A gesture to the piles of fabrics as he takes a seat on the couch.] –I’m Talyn Lavellan, I live here. And I’m assume you do now, as well?
action;
Hello! --Oh! [Her eyes widen as she takes in her housemate's appearance. She's never seen such... elaborate facial markings before. But this is not the first non-human she's encountered here, so she recovers her manners quickly.]
A pleasure! I was wondering who that bedroom must belong to! I am L'Arachel, princess of the sacred theocracy of Rausten, and you assume correctly. You have such a pleasant little home--oh dear, now is it Talyn, or Lavellan? You must forgive me, I'm never quite sure what to call people with more than one name.
