Hello, everyone!

[Euphie certainly seems more sunny and back to her old self, but someone who knows her well can tell that her cheeriness is slightly forced. Not completely forced, but she's not quite as upbeat as she used to be.]

I hope everyone is doing well today. I'm coming to you all because I'm still looking for someone to whom I can entrust something very valuable to me.

[She links a picture of a gold and white robot, about 14 or 15 feet tall, standing in a dimly lit garage. She's clearly taken the picture herself.] This is the Lancelot, an experimental Knightmare Frame developed by the Camelot Special Research Division in my home nation, Britannia. It belongs to a dear friend of mine, but since he's not here, it seems to have been entrusted to me.

I'm not very qualified to operate it, however. I'd like to find someone honorable and trustworthy to whom I can give it. [She offers the camera a slightly sheepish smile.] It feels like a waste to leave Lancelot gathering dust, don't you think so?

[This is either a very, very bad idea or a very, very good one. But in any case it's likely to entertain Miles, whether he wants it or not, so Gregor goes for it.]

A good friend of mine is here that might be interested. We don't have anything like that where we're from, but he has plenty of experience piloting other things, and wearing, er, much scaled down combat armor, so I believe he could gain some competency at it with practice.

More importantly, he is the definition of honorable and trustworthy.

[And he is probably very frustrated about being useless in conflicts.]

Oh! Is this the friend you mentioned to me earlier, Mr. Gregor? The one who might need my help every now and then? I'd be happy to meet with him and see if this would be something he'd be interested in. Though... it is a very high-performance machine, so he would need to be very safe with his condition.

Oh-- yes, you're on our list of healers, that's right. That's him.

I'd be happy to introduce you. He's never let his physical condition stop him from doing anything before, so I don't see why he'd start now, but I appreciate your concern. Especially as one of the people likely to be patching him up afterwards. [A quirk of a smile.]

What kind of machine is it? What is it programmed to do?

It's a Knightmare Frame! It's not autonomous, so it's not 'programmed' to do anything, I'm afraid. It's designed to be piloted by a Devicer... you could think of it as an upright tank, I suppose!

[A tank? Without an AI?]

This Devicer, I assume that's the operator your seeking to find?

Well, not just anyone. I'd obviously have to speak with them first and decide if they seemed trustworthy or not.

But Lancelot is just gathering dust as it is, and I can't pilot it... shouldn't I make it available for someone to help others with?

He's lovely. In what capacity does he usually operate?

Oh, thank you! Lancelot was designed by my brother's research division Camelot, so I'm sure he'd be pleased to hear that. It's the first seventh-generation Knightmare Frame! I'm afraid I can't speak to any of the intended strategy behind it, but from what I've seen and heard it's significantly higher-performance than any of the current combat models used by any of the three great powers around the globe.

He's so pretty! And your home's development team definitely designed him very well! He looks amazing and functionally sound! We have similar things in my world, but they're rare and not so streamlined in appearance!

Aha, thank you! I wish my brother were here so I could pass on your kind words. Their superior mobility is one of the advantages Knightmare Frames have over traditional tanks in combat, so its streamlined appearance would make perfect sense.
