14 ⚜ Video-Text
[The video feed flicks off and on at different times. There's different people on screen; eating, drinking, chatting in different places. They're captured at different times in different cities - where lights are shining and the traffic is noisily moving, or just quietly sitting there, or cannot be seen at all.
Some of the characters might be familiar. Could even be imPorts. Perhaps some are standing closer than others, might even notice they're being watched. There is the matter, however, that Crane just doesn't look like he used to. The fact the video isn't turned on him makes him harder to place.
In short, Crane's been sitting down somewhere, or standing elsewhere, observing people living their lives, psychologically analyzing them without their consent. He might even be watching that book burning, if it's happening.]
"How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is!
O brave new world,
That has such people in it!"
It's time we returned back to culture. Yes, actually to culture. You cannot be well-minded people if you burn books.
Philistines! You're nothing but a blight upon human intellect. Nothing but cowards rolling around in your ignorant squalor like pigs in filth. I find myself constantly amazed by your primitive behavior. For only animals would threaten to burn what they cannot understand.
[Chilton can fight his own battles, but don't even joke about burning literature.]

And I don't see how this has anything to do with the subject you butted into to begin with.

Do you think Jesse really wants you to be making as big of a scene of this as you have been? Do you really think what you're doing is helping him in the long run?
no subject
What do you call what you're doing exactly? I wasn't even talking to you and you're trying to start shit with me.
In the long run of what, exactly?

As for whether Frederick knows both sides of the story, of course he knows. He has been in conversation with them both, unlike you. And out of respect for Jesse Pinkman, he's not even mentioned in this book. Unlike you, I have read it, after all.
Which also goes on to say that Frederick has enough respect for Pinkman to keep him removed from the situation. You are doing quite the opposite, aren't you? Your defense on his behalf in relation to this situation is only prolonging Jesse's torment and bringing him to the forefront of attention.

You know what, Raina? I give up with you. From now on I'm just going to pretend you and your douche boyfriend don't exist. Because my life is so much better without you in it.

The feeling is more than mutual. Stay out of our business, Skye, and I will stay out of yours. It's a very simple solution, one I think even your simple mind can comprehend.

That's cute.
How do you think Chilton feels about you butting into his business?
And I wouldn't go there about simple minds.
no subject
And I would hardly call what you're doing 'his business.' You are not nearly as important as you like to think you are.

And I'm willing to bet Chilton is using you too.
[Skye can make someone hurt when she wants to. She knows what buttons to press.]

Making arguments with no solid grounding or true understanding -- way to make yourself look intelligent, Skye. For you to say any of this proves how clueless you are about everything.
One needs only look at the facts to prove you're wrong. I am Frederick's longest relationship in this world, he and I are living together when he didn't live with any of the other women he dated, we stood up to the devil when he threatened to tear our relationship apart and won. He loves me. A love so strong, I don't expect you to ever be able to comprehend it. And you certainly will never experience it.
I suggest you hang up now before you embarrass yourself any further. And in front of Jonathan Crane, no less! Haven't you heard the tales of what he can do?
