[Guess who, everyone? Even Pan has something to say about this terrible, terrible tragedy.]
Honestly, I'm not sure why any of you are quite surprised that this happened. War is never clean. Besides, why fight a messy battle within trenches when you can cut off the enemy's limb cleanly without risk to your own people?
It's the pragmatic solution in the end so why not just live with the outcome. People fight and murder to protect what's theirs and this land was only looking to protect their investment or rather, us.
Besides, it makes for quite a show.
[What else can he do in jail but watch this stuff anyways.]

I don't really have a stake in all this stuff, but I kind of agree. In war you have to be decisive or you're gonna lose.
Re: video;
I suppose not. An imPort from another land and who is newly arrived?
I wouldn't be surprised with not feeling directly involved.
But, it's true. Wars aren't one through pretty speeches and wordplay.

[ Not that she really minds, but a short break would have been nice. ]

[ She looks proud of it, too. ]

[#judging you.]

Now really. If this is about Neverland I thought you would've been less cross with me. Considering what I gave you.

video;
No, what I'm referring to is respect.
[ A casual tilt of the head as he looks at her with a slim smile. ]
It must be hard in your land to be seen as equal. Considering you're a woman.
video;
[ There's a brief pause. ]
But I have it now. Both from my peers back home and many people here.
Whatever mind games you're trying to pull off by saying that, they won't work on me.

[Seriously, he doesn't get why more people didn't get the hell out.]

You think I don't understand how politics works.

You would be correct, but like I said. I don't really feel like sharing. Not quite in my nature.

[He won't.]
video;
[So wrong and terrifying on so many levels? Really. Sorey's used to being the one used as a tool, as a means to the end of a decisive victory in a war. Been there and done that, got the t-shirt (or, okay, not the t-shirt, but still). It's impossible for him to really accept and come to terms with this.]
Even if they aren't risking their own people in their army, they're still hurting or killing others with these...these bombs. That doesn't make it okay and I can't see how anyone could 'just live with the outcome'.
[Look Pan, another hopelessly naive and optimistic protag for you.]
video;
Does it matter? That's war. In any conflict either side will spill blood for their cause. Innocent or not.
Besides, can you truly call anyone innocent?
video;
[He's seen too much fighting already. Seen the resulting malevolence only fueling the Lord of Calamity because of it, even when Sorey himself tried to step in and prevent things getting worse.]
video;
Adults, grown ups will fight over the pettiest of things and they will destroy the lives of anyone to get what they want.
They don't care of the well being of children in another land. They're only looking out for their own interests.
It's like a chess board. Their people, their army, even to an extent, imports, are nothing more than pieces to their grand game.
video;
[This is still too much. Too much pain and too much killing as it is. It would be only too easy for anyone to force Sorey's hand with some of his friends being present here too, as Hyland did back home with threatening Alisha.]
video;
video;
[It can't be right. But then, Hyland had used Sorey in much the same way these people intend to because of their powers. Because of his powers. That much doesn't seem to have changed much if at all even in another world.]
It can't be right. There has to be something we can do to stop this. We -- everyone, we're not just chess pieces in some game.

Or in this case, what's good for their own little interests. You can say it's no excuse until you're out of breath it doesn't make it any less true that people will forever do it.

If that's what needed to be done to stop people from dying, I'd do it. If someone is recklessly throwing away the lives of their own people they don't deserve to be in power anyway.
