[Shortly after midnight, there's an audio post to the network. Mitsuru sounds... unsure of herself in a way that's not all that usual.]

I have a question to any imPorts living in or around the designated imPort housing in Maurtia Falls.

Have any of you experienced anything odd at midnight over the past month?

[She'd like to say she's just wondering, but that'd be transparent and obviously so.] I'd like to figure out if there are similarities between my world and home, but I'd rather not go into detail if at all possible.

[She exhales.] I thought as much. The range is enough so that you get caught in it, as well.

I can hope it's only Persona-users. At the very least, I haven't heard of any cases of Apathy Syndrome yet.

Well, I mean, it depends on the Shadows, right? Are there even Shadows?

There are. I've sensed them with Artemisia. There aren't many, however; these seem to be Shadows that develop normally out of peoples' psyches, if I were to hazard a guess. Yamagishi could tell more effectively. They aren't very aggressive, thankfully.

So you've spent time near the imPort housing at midnight, and haven't experienced anything?

[Mitsuru hesitates for a moment before flicking it over to private.] I'm loathe to discuss this with outsiders, but I suppose you're coming from as good a place to understand it as any.

Beyond traveling through time, what do you know about... distortions in it?

I'm coming from a better place to understand it as any. [ But she's swapping this to private, that means it's serious. The Doctor goes from about a 10 on the levity scale back to a 5. He's still going to be a bit of a goof, but not entirely. ]

You'll have to be a bit more specific. I've encountered all sort of things mucking about with time: creatures feeding off a timeline's potential energy, distortions created by changing a fixed point, time loops of all kinds, paradoxes upon paradoxes.

What if I were to tell you that there were actually 25 hours in a day? On Earth, I mean.

But one of them, most people never experience.

I imagine I don't need to tell you exactly what it is that might happen at midnight.

More than that, it seems to be happening in a small, concentrated radius.

With me as its epicenter.

[ He's not typically in the business of just...posting at random, responding to people he doesn't necessarily care about. But, well, this is no real skin off his nose. So he decides to provide a little bit of help. Why not? He can be nice. He can be helpful. Right? ]

[ That's all he posts. And yet it still takes him about ten minutes of agonizing, fiddling with the font type and font size, debating whether or not to include a period, generally getting anxious, deleting it twice. But in the end, at least he posts it. ]

There's a lot of strange things that happen here.

[At least, from his perspective. His world is very mundane, after all.]

"Odd" doesn't really have a lot of context for me anymore.

So do we got a plan for it, or is it just gonna be a 'keep an eye on it, make sure nothing changes' thing. [Despite being a question, he says it pretty dryly- pretty much assuming that it's their only option.] Because if there ain't anything like bigass Shadows or whatever causing it here, than there's not much we can do aside from make sure things don't go to shit during it.

The latter, unfortunately. I haven't noticed any changes.

And I also haven't noticed any large Shadows. Just the small ones.

Yeah, I figure if any were around, you'd have told us by now.

[He hopes you trust them with that much, at least.]

You think we need to clear our the little ones, or are they rare enough to let be? [He's not entirely sure how their spawning works without Tartarus to contain and nest them- or even if it's possible to ever dwindle the numbers. But it's at least an idea.]

We could always try and cull 'em- make a weekend out of it or something.
