She crosses skinny arms in front of her chest.] I-- I need to find my father. Does anyone know where he is? His name is Takeharu Kirijo, he's... he's very important. He's a very important man! [She narrows her eyes, putting her hands on her hips and squaring her shoulders forward at him.] Oh yeah? Well, I don't believe it. How are you going to prove it to me?

What, really? It's all recorded? [The switch flips in her mind and she goes from irritated to interested, very quickly. She stands on her tiptoes, trying to see Junpei's screen.] Show it to me and I might believe you.

[Sorry he's so noodly, Mitsuru. Crouching ever so slightly, he pulls up the conversation they had only recently about the Dark Hour, scrolling to make sure both their names were visible.]

See? That's you--no nonsense as always. Everyone kinda respects you, so guess you've got a lot to look forward to, huh?

--! [Little Mitsuru takes a step back, because the face on the screen... it's unfamiliar, yet somehow not.] ...that's me? That's really me? I look so different--! [She says, with wide eyes. Yet she doesn't seem to be doubting him.]

[He even hands over the comm so she can get a better look.]

...I don't understand. How am I looking at me from the future? This doesn't make any sense. Am I tall? Do I get taller?

Trust me, not a lot's making sense for me either.


But on the plus side, you get way taller. Almost as tall as me.

17. Technically 18 if this place didn't skip my birthday.

[Trust him, it haunts him every day.]

Hmmm... does that really matter, though? Depending on the date you last remembered, and the date you came here, you could easily calculate the day on which you hit your 19th year. That'd be very simple math. Though I suppose that'd mean you would have to celebrate your new birthday from then on, wouldn't it?

My head hurts already....Wonder if I could just say my birthday already happened.

Let's see...it's April 1st now...and my birthday's January 16th, and...Back home it was November 28th...

Hmmm. [Mitsuru crosses her arms over her chest and closes her eyes in thought.] That's... 49 days from your memory back home to your birthday. So now, all you need to do is figure out what day you got here, and count 49 days from then. It's simple. A high schooler should definitely be able to do it.
