004 [] video
[ Sarah is sprawled out on the couch in her apartment, holding onto a beer, and the communicator seems to be set up on the coffee table. She takes a drink before she says anything, closing her eyes briefly, and then looks askance at the camera. ]
So has anyone else been having bloody weird dreams the past couple days?
So has anyone else been having bloody weird dreams the past couple days?
action;
[ Sarah knows Chloe is just trying to mess with her. At least, she hopes that's the case. ]
Helena's had a hard life. Don't make her feel weird.
action;
[No she's not.]
I'll behave. Besides, I am happily taken, thank you. [Doesn't mean she can't look, right?]
On a related note, your sister did say something to me...something I thought was weird.
action;
[ With Helena, that could mean a lot of things. ]
action;
She said she's your twin. [A beat, and Chloe raised an eyebrow.]
You, specifically. Not the whole gaggle of you.
action;
She said that? That's weird.
action;
I know, right? And it wasn't even like, she was saying something unusual. It was automatic. 'My twin.'
[She's suspicious now...]
action;
[ A part of her is surprised it's taken Chloe (or... anybody) this long to question the quintuplet story. No one but Alison ever really thought it was plausible. ]
action;
[She shrugs.]
That is seriously not the impression she was giving. There was almost something...possessive there.

[Not that Chloe couldn't still hope. Somewhere inside. And be disappointed.]
Though I gotta say, whatever reason you've got it'd have to be pretty crazy to think quintuplets is the better story.
action;
action;
Aaaaaaand you aren't gonna tell me, are you.
action;
We're not keeping this from you to be mean to you, yeah? It's to keep you out of something that could be dangerous.
action;
In case you haven't noticed, everything we do here seems to be dangerous, Sarah.
action;
action;
[She smirks.]
But hey, now I know there's a lie there. Shouldn't be hard to get Cosima to tell me.
action;
[ For the first time, Sarah looks like she's actually angry at Chloe. She can't blame her for calling the clones out on their lie—what person wouldn't?—but seriously? ]
I don't tell you right away and your first instinct is to act like an entitled tit and say you're gonna go running to the next one of us? Do you respect me at all?
action;
Yeah I respect you, Sarah. Wouldn't still be here if I didn't! But I've spent way too much of my life getting fucking lied to again and again to just...just sit there and take it, too!
action;
You wanna talk about being lied to? Go on, ask Cosima. [ She dares you, Chloe. ]
action;
[She takes a couple steps away, then spins back.]
Or you could just tell me what the hell is going on.
action;
If I tell you, you're gonna have to promise me to keep it to yourself.
action;
Alright. Deal.
[Suddenly she's sliding back onto the couch.]
In fact, I'll show you something in return, huh? Fair's fair.
action;
[ Not that she expects it to be anything too major. ]
So my sisters and I are genetically identical. But obviously we were raised separately. I grew up in foster care, and Helena was in a convent, but Cosima and Alison were raised by families. Parents. [ She sighs. ] We were all lied to.
