He spent this first month here lying low, taking in the workings of the world he'd landed in, and now it was time to put his secondary plan into action: Verifying Hisoka's claims. The first was that he'd been here twice before, and the second that members of his family had been here before as well. Anything he finds on the network will be taken with a grain of salt, but it's better than Hisoka's word alone.

The camera is focused neatly on Illumi's face, no disguises in place and with the backdrop being a plain wall. He seems pleasant enough, raising a hand in greeting.]

Hello!

I'm looking for someone who knows me or is familiar with the Zoldyck name. Any information is useful, but I'll know if you're lying.

[He pauses, then adds as an afterthought.] Oh, and if you know of any recent assassinations in the area, just the victim's name will do.

[Just his face, no disguise! Though... Illumi's preferred disguise was hardly a charismatic one. Hisoka rather liked that Illumi was so attached to the whole Gittarackur thing, it was oddly endearing and hilarious. Still though it's interesting to see Illumi play so cheery for the network, he supposes the young man really does whatever he has to to get what he wants, he and Illumi are similar in that.]

I know you~ The Zoldycks? Which ones? That mysterious family that kills people for a living or am I mistaken?

[Any polite or cheerful demeanor is thrown out the window the moment he sees Hisoka's mug on the screen. He's just his usual deadpan self, without the showiness he sometimes gives in public.]

I wasn't asking you. [He clarifies, not really in the mood to humour Hisoka when his post thus far has gotten him nowhere.]

I haven't done anything wrong. If my family's here, the most obvious place to look would be at recent assassination targets.

Anyone would be concerned about that sort of interest, specifically if it's one of the very first things you ask when you've just arrived.

But I didn't just arrive. I've been here an entire month--I'm only bothering to ask here because it's faster. There's no need to be so suspicious.
