video (ID: L Lance)

[It was only on her second day here that Laurel decided to address the network at large, figuring it was the best way to gain some vital insight. She had read the file that was given to her upon her arrival several times, taking a special interest in the abilities that had been supposedly given to her. Not only did Laurel have extra powers but she also had her weapons and vigilante outfit (neither of which she had put to use yet)

When the video feed comes on, Laurel flashes a smile before getting to her point. She's friendly, but on her guard at the same time.]

Hi. I just have a few questions.

[She was used to speaking in public, given her career path. But there was something different about this, reaching out to virtual strangers over a device.]

First question - Does Star City or Central City mean anything to anyone here?

Second question - Where is a good place for coffee? I need caffeine.

And finally - Anyone have any experience with flower arranging? I can't say that I'm an expert and they didn't teach that in law school. [A wince.] But I really don't want to get fired from my job so any tips would be great.

Thanks.

[ She doesn't mean to stare, really. It's just ... she never expected to see Laurel again. Not after the news they'd gotten while dealing with Zoom. ]

Laurel. [ She finally blinks, lowering her head a moment to get her composure back. When she looks up, there's a slight smile on her face. ]

I guess the first question goes without saying. The second ... what city are you in?

Flowers and city names I can't really help with, sorry. But the coffee I might be able to?

Central City, land of the Flash. Seems to be a popular location around here.

Second only to people addicted to caffeine, it seems. Which town did they stick you in?

I feel obligated to recommend the cafe where I work in Heropa, the Lucky Cat.

And if that's the job you were assigned, there's no penalty for leaving it and finding another if it doesn't suit you. I don't think I even went to one day.

[Kon sighs and slumps back against his desk chair and the background spins as he talks.]

Always with Star and Central, never any Metropolis love.

Oh, and you're gonna get a lot of people saying they know those cities. They're popular among us imPorts.

Laurel!

[ After the recent events it's so refreshing and nice to see Laurel come here. Of course he's not looking forward to seeing how people react to her because he knows it's going to make her feel weird but still he's so happy to see her. ]

I think you know the answer to your first question and there's a really nice shop down here in Heropa but that's only helpful if you're down here with...several of us.

[ Someone clearly from home with the last name Lance? Ted's intrigued, even if she doesn't look or sound like Dinah. ]

Star and Central? Well, I know neither of them are particularly great vacation spots. Though the Flash Museum isn't bad as far as sightseeing goes.

I'm familiar with both cities. And more than just familiar with Central, since I'm from Keystone.

And as far as coffee goes, there's a great place that only serves fair trade in downtown Heropa. It's called Bean There Done That, though, if that puts you off at all.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Which answer would you prefer expanded first?

I'm pretty obsessed with coffee so I can give you the direction to a couple of places, depending on which city you are in. However, in Heropa, there is a coffee shop ran by imPorts for imPorts called "The Lucky Cat Café". It's pretty good.

Kinda miss Central sometimes. Anybody tell you it doesn't exist here yet?

[ There's confusion in her eyes initially; Laurel Lance? And she's familiar with Star and Central City, so... ]

Quite a few of us familiar with Star City and Central City.

I'm in Heropa, too. So are a few other familiar faces.

[ If Laurel knows what's happened, she doesn't show it. Caitlin tries to remember if Eddie had mentioned whether or not he remembered dying before coming here. ]

I've been here just under two months? And in that time, the only other city I've visited is Nonah, and that was very recently.

I'm from Central City.

[That's his city. Was his city. Whatever. More importantly and much quieter.]

You're Sara's sister.

[It's a statement more than a question.]

[Ruby returns the smile with understanding eyes.]

No problem. I haven't been here too long myself, but Lucky Cat's always nice if you're down in that area. And there are a couple other okay places I've found so far. They're a little less well-known though, I think.

You're welcome.

Nothing wrong with that. I've been trying out something new myself-- being a barista, that is. If you're planning to stay registered, you can effectively try out whatever you like while you're here, really.
