[It was only on her second day here that Laurel decided to address the network at large, figuring it was the best way to gain some vital insight. She had read the file that was given to her upon her arrival several times, taking a special interest in the abilities that had been supposedly given to her. Not only did Laurel have extra powers but she also had her weapons and vigilante outfit (neither of which she had put to use yet)

When the video feed comes on, Laurel flashes a smile before getting to her point. She's friendly, but on her guard at the same time.]

Hi. I just have a few questions.

[She was used to speaking in public, given her career path. But there was something different about this, reaching out to virtual strangers over a device.]

First question - Does Star City or Central City mean anything to anyone here?

Second question - Where is a good place for coffee? I need caffeine.

And finally - Anyone have any experience with flower arranging? I can't say that I'm an expert and they didn't teach that in law school. [A wince.] But I really don't want to get fired from my job so any tips would be great.

I'm in Heropa. Haven't had a chance to check out any of the other cities just yet. [ One city at a time. ]

They stuck me in Heropa. I'm still trying to familiarise myself with it.

Anything I should know about Heropa?

I feel obligated to recommend the cafe where I work in Heropa, the Lucky Cat.

And if that's the job you were assigned, there's no penalty for leaving it and finding another if it doesn't suit you. I don't think I even went to one day.

I think you know the answer to your first question and there's a really nice shop down here in Heropa but that's only helpful if you're down here with...several of us.

Funny that you should mention that about Heropa because that's where I am. And when you say 'several', how many people do you mean?

Star and Central? Well, I know neither of them are particularly great vacation spots. Though the Flash Museum isn't bad as far as sightseeing goes.

I'm from Star myself and I've been to Central a few times, but I've never seen a museum. Are you sure?

I'm familiar with both cities. And more than just familiar with Central, since I'm from Keystone.

And as far as coffee goes, there's a great place that only serves fair trade in downtown Heropa. It's called Bean There Done That, though, if that puts you off at all.

Also, there seems to be more people from Central rather than Star. Maybe I'm the first one or they just haven't seen this yet.

I'm pretty obsessed with coffee so I can give you the direction to a couple of places, depending on which city you are in. However, in Heropa, there is a coffee shop ran by imPorts for imPorts called "The Lucky Cat Café". It's pretty good.

Luckily, I am in Heropa so I can swing by that place you mentioned. Seems to be popular, based on the responses I've seen so far.

But I'd be interested to know about the other places in the different cities. You know, for when I get around to visiting them.

Central City does. [ Gives a friendly smile right on back.] And the coffee would depend on where you wound up.

[ There's no recognition in her eyes when she sees him, but maybe he knew of S.T.A.R labs. Or maybe he was just an ordinary citizen of the city. Laurel couldn't tell off the bat. ]

Lucky Cat seems to be the place to go to in Heropa. That's one city covered. Any suggestions for the rest?

1. Star, no. Central, no, unless you mean the one in Colorado. But no one here's heard of Sky City, and it's not the first time I've heard of particular major cities simply not existing here. Bit of an odd assortment, though. For instance, you never hear about Earths that don't have New York or Pittsburgh or something like that.

2. If in doubt, get an espresso machine. Less expensive in the long run, and it'll never spell your name wrong.

[ god, she sounds too hopeful, she knows she does. like maybe she's expecting a yes, some smartass remark that'll make her laugh, and then they'll be best friends. like she is with her Dinah. ]

No, sorry. I don't know anyone by that name, nor have I heard anyone else mention it to me back home. [ she has a bad feeling that her answer will disappoint Barbara. ]
