[[so after a week of aimless wandering and several failed attempts to return to the Dreaming or remove the tattoo on his wrist, the Corinthian finally decides it's time to say hello. Twin black lenses peer thoughtfully down at the communicator, their owner nestled in the shade of some nondescript building.]

It is a curious thing, to be out of place. They have done their best to make us fit, but ill-fitting it must remain for those who had purpose before. Ties are not as easily cut as some lesser materials, and I find these unwanted attempts to bind... [he hums] ...mm, an irritant. I doubt that I'm the only one.

[a pause. The Corinthian glances briefly down at the tattoo on his wrist, glowing in the shadow. He frowns, then returns his attention.]

...I am also aware that there are none here I know, and I am cut off from contacting them. So instead I would have your names and a word on your world, if you would give them. Or not - as you will. But it seems the only thing to do with a communicator is to attempt to communicate; there is no point to hiding in a false world. I will even begin, to make it more comfortable. [he adds, humored:] That is a rare offer from me.

[the nightmare touches a hand to his chest genially.]

I am known as the Corinthian, nightmare of the Major Arcana in service to the Lord Shaper, Lord Dream of the Endless.

[ I wear my suuuunglasses at night, so I can-- Dean might be humming, but he'll stop himself. ]

Now there's an introduction you don't hear every day. I mean, nothing like being given the platform to scare the shit outta people. [ he shrugs a shoulder ] So, any idea-- who would I blame for all the creepy crawlies I used to dream about?

[he holds up his hand in a peace sign.]

That's two who have made reference to that song now. [he smiles.] I think I'll start keeping track.

Mm, but some of my kind, certainly. The night terrors as well, perhaps. And yourself. Sometimes a nightmare is necessary. No dream or life can last forever.

Do you have an introduction to make as well?

[kickingand]

I dunno if that means that you're the one that's got taste, or that we do. [ he shrugs, amused either way. ]

Sure as hell didn't feel necessary at the time but sure- how much of an introduction are you looking for?

Whatever you're willing to offer. I find myself curious about this half-world and all this Porter has netted. We seem a strange variety.

[kickingand]

Dean Winchester. Demon. And in service to the only Jack worth mentioning. [ Have a lifting up of a bottle of whiskey- ahhh, booze. ]

[mirrordarkly]

A demon. [what a grin that gets.] It has been overlong since I have spoken with a demon. You look less demonic than I have come to be accustomed to.

[kickingand]

You expecting the whole horns 'n a tail shebang? Because I left those back at my place, I could run and strap 'em back on for you...

I would settle for a few tentacles.

Perhaps some extra teeth.

[kickingand]

Tentacles? Really goin' for the gold with that one, aren't you.

Half-measures are dull.

[kickingand]

Pretty sure anything I could offer after that'd just be a disappointment.
