What do you do when a constant external factor prevents you from moving forward with the practical application of your research?

And has anyone here with shapeshifting abilities given themselves an extra appendage, removed it, and then studied how the nanites react to it?

Well usually if forward doesn't work, try going sideways. Changing up the approach solves a lot of problems sometimes.

In most situations that might work... In this one it won't, due to external factors that can't be changed.

Transdimensional communication. Everything should be working, but the unavoidable interference has made it unsuccessful so far.

Sounds like something that could be handy, or cause a lot of trouble. Guess it makes sense a signal would get screwed up between places though, I mean look at all the strange things we come out with.

What are your qualifications? If I perform this experiment it will be using scientific method and my friends specialize in varying fields of science. The last thing I want is for the data collection to be botched in any way.

Then it might be the case that your hypothesis needs adjusting.

Uhhh well I have a bachelors in genetics with a minor in biology, sooo I'd say I know a thing or two about scientific testing.

Maybe... I'm probably have to do a separate research project to block the interference from the outside source if I want to have any success at future attempts...
