I went from friendly nerd, to friendly hobo, and finally to friendly officer.

It's actually very simple: as long you are an imPort, you can pretty much get any job you want. You don't have credentials because this isn't our world, so they'll just believe you aren't lying.

They give you a job when you arrive, and I usually stick with them. Except the hobo one.

I think they gave me this job because it was the closest thing to what I did back home.

I do take it seriously, though. However, I'm very limited: I'm only in the PR department so i'm not meant to chase after criminals or do detective work. I don't even have handcuffs.
