Hey, uh. Sorta a specific question, but has anyone ever... lost track of a day and shown up at the Porter? With somethin' changed? Is that just - somethin' that happens on top of all the other weird shit this place does to a person?

I can hardly imagine, though it does really seem something that happens without warning.

Anyway, it's good to hear all your things are still around. The Porter must have known it wasn't done with you, then. And as for Carla? Beautiful name. [He sounds pleased.]

Already happened. [There's a smile in his voice.] On paper, at least. You're still invited to the reception.

Well, shit. Congratulations. Ya'll get a place with a white picket fence yet?

[Toby's comfortable with just the two of them in their little Maurtia Falls apartment, but Dorian's room is a tiny bit more than cramped.]

I think there's still time to get that all sorted. Need room for all my video games, after all. [Said with a chuckle.]

I'm not sure why that surprises me so much, but it really does.

Do you play any, yourself?

[shifting]

No, sorry. Can't say I ever got into it. Parents were a little too Christian to have a system in the house when I was a kid, I think I missed the window.

See, now that's a crying shame. Though now that you're a big boy, maybe pop on by sometime, and we can try some out here.

[Toby's got a variety, surely there's something Sam might be interested in.]

Oh, yeah? Can't say I've ever actually been to a vampire's house before.

[which he plays off as a joke, but - that's actually giving him pause.]

...But maybe in the name of figurin' out what the video game appeal is.

...Our first conversation didn't go great. But I can't say I've even talked to him since then.
