[It's been an entire two months that Nike hasn't used the network in the slightest. She was dedicating most, if not all, of her time to work. She was beyond exhausted at this point. To the point she may seem paler, less energetic, and thinner than usual. Today, especially, her voice will sound subdue and forceful as she begins to speak to the network.]

Hey! I have a question to ask. It's something that has been on my mind for a while and...I don't think it's information I can easily find. ...I think. [More like she has been feeling too lightheaded to, but details!] It's about those nullifier things. I've seen and heard of them, but it wasn't until participating in the last swear in that I realized they're pretty powerful in completely suppressing our powers.

[A short pause to catch her breath, hide that fact that she has been having trouble breathing lately. More so than usual.]

...so I was wondering if there is a way to get a less powerful version of it. Like, for example, a version that won't completely dull my senses. [A beat.] Something similar to what I have back home would be nice...

[Another pause as she thinks about her next request.]

Also, um...would anyone be interested in escorting a girl home today? I would like the company...well, kinda... [Oh great. Now it sounds like she is lonely, doesn't it? She hates asking for anything, but oh well she can take the embarrassment just this once.] T-Thanks for listening...

I see. I guess I can understand that, since your powers involve rain. And Florida can be terribly hot. But it could be complicated if that happens whenever there is a hot day.

Perhaps asking the government directly could work? They already give imPorts so many perks.

It could be. I try to keep cool or ignore it as best as I can. I've been successful in doing it throughout the summer. [Ignoring the voices and feelings. Working double or even triple shifts have helped, but now...] ...I wonder if it's a sign that I've been overdoing it.

Do you think they won't mind helping me out? I mean, I'm kinda unregistered. It feels a little wrong to ask for their help when I have no interest in joining their army or war...

It could be. But- uhm... being unregistered might make things a bit more difficult since these perks are only meant to registered imPorts.

But I still have a feeling they'd tell you to learn how to control your powers, instead of giving you a nullifier.

I figured as much. That's why I had no intention to ask them. I don't feel it is in my place to ask for their help if I won't join their army. [Not that she isn't interested in helping out because she is. She just feels her talents can be used to serve the people of the nation that have been very kind to her, not the government.]

I've been trying to build up a tolerance to this new world. It's difficult to not get lost in the sea of sensations. If I allow myself to go along with its' desires, I don't believe I'll be able to return from that trance. I need this world's cooperation before all else. [But with the way it was going, she'll end up in the same condition as her sickly mother, where she won't be of any use to anyone. It was bad enough she still couldn't summon the rain. A sigh will escape as she felt defeated by it all.] ...I think it would be easier if I had my usual equipment with me from home. This wouldn't be such a big deal if I did.

Well, maybe you can ask someone to rebuild them? or build a version of them. There are many imPorts that can build things.

[To be fair, she isn't certain it'll be easy to find the items she needs because they are pretty specific. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to ask, maybe Sasaki will know. He's a pretty knowledgeable guy!]

Hey. Do you happen to recognize the name of a stone known as Black Lotus?

A stone...? [ he pauses to think for a bit, humming ]

No, I don't think I have, I'm sorry. What is it?

It's the tool I need to fix this problem. The Black Lotus stones is the only thing, as far as I know, that can both disconnect my powers or limit its strength. Unlike the nullifiers, the stone's effects will remain even after taking it off. [That's how powerful they are.]

If I had enough to make a long chain necklace with, then it would be all the easier to solve this issue. That's why I was curious to know if you heard of it. Since you've been in this world longer than most people.

It must be something specific to your world, though. I'm sorry.

I remember someone who already left had powers to recreate things from other worlds as long they had enough information, but that was very specific. You could ask people who are into tech if they could maybe build something like that.

I most likely will. I need it now. I don't think I can ignore this pain any longer. [She didn't want to seal her power away or anything. Just something to lower the volume, at the very least. There is nothing that can be done about the aches her body feels whenever she over does it.] Thank you for worrying and trying to help me, Sasaki. I do appreciate it. The concern. It is. It should be, I guess. I'm just not used to it yet. The whole friendship thing. It's complicated, but I'm not really used to having people worry over me. [Which is the truth. Her family is so very laid back that they don't usually care what she does while those at the Sun Kingdom are the polar opposite; mainly due to prestige and the like than anything else though.]

hm- really? [ it's a bit surprising ] You are a very nice person, friendly too- I'd think you have a lot of friends.

It's sorta hard to make friends when everyone is so stubborn over following the social protocol in treating royalty as.

[That, and high society didn't like or accepted her neither. Since they can't use her as a bargaining chip unless they want to be felt Livi's wrath, that is.]
