I would be happy if you'd do me the honor of answering a few questions.

First, I would have it known how a doctor sets about establishing their license to practice. Is it the case that such legality is established upon entrance to this world? I highly doubt any sane medical council would permit an unlicensed physician to remain in post, as negligence is surely as endemic in this world as anywhere else. Pertinently, what funding is available for research fellowships, or starting one's own practice?

Second, might those of you with an appreciation of medical science be willing to permit me to make an account of your state of health? A physical examination with all that's entailed. Were I so fortunate as to receive your participation in medical screening, I dare say that it would assist the future treatment of everyone.

Please do me the honor of withholding your response if it fails to address either point in question. You have my gratitude, in any case.

I've never found it quite clear, but it seems you're legally able to practice from the get-go here. Going through med school and other things could take literal years from what I understand, something not all imPorts have.

That is indeed fortunate news; but to have no time here with all the advancements of these civilized people. Do you propose to claim that some have fallen to illness?

Nothing like that. Our existence here is not stable, so we can be ported back out at any time.

The slightly good news is when you are ported back home, you get sent back the moment you were taken from. It's as if time never passed.

I cannot describe to you the relief such news makes me feel. It is indeed fortunate; but as it sounds absurd, it alarms me in some regards. Forgive me the question of whether it is the truth.

Since you're already asking, you're aware you can change jobs, right?

I am. I do also, unfortunately, require a job to move into before I relinquish that.

Do you want to start your own practice or would you be willing to work with another one for a while?

I cannot decide. My independent state of mind enjoys the former, whilst reminding me that circumstances require the latter. I fear, whoever you are, that my answer depends on whom I would be working with.
