If there's anything outstanding from either of them that you need help with, let one of the rest of us know and we'll do our best to work it out.

Not that I know of. But I've got a couple of hours free later so I'll swing by and see if I can give them a hand.

It happens though. Sometimes they come back.

The Porter is kind of sporadic. It glitches. A few times my friends have gone and been back within 24 hours, but further on in time than they were when they first arrived.

This is different though. It's been too long.

Terribly sorry for your loss. [ and to his credit, Dorian doesn't sound smarmy. He at least sounds a little sincere. He straight up shot his friendship with Gansey to hell and back, but that doesn't change the fact that Dorian liked the kid. ]

I know you'll probably ignore this, but if Blue or the littlest Lynch want a shoulder to cry on or a legal adult to help them get shitfaced, I'm at your beck and call.

We'll be fine, but thanks. [ Maybe they'll be fine. She looks pretty much par for the course. Her wardrobe is chaotic as ever. And her lips are pursed, but that could due to any number of things. Could be the weather's disagreeable. Who knows! She's definitely not kicking something off-screen. ] It's just a matter of waiting our turn, isn't it?

[ Okay, that was somewhat... venomous. All things considered. ]

What, until you get sent home? [ That's what she meant by waiting her turn, right? Maybe? Hopefully. ] Well then, I hope the rest of you either get sent home as fast as possible or Gansey and the rest reappear here as soon as possible. Take your pick.

[ Blue nods at that, looking momentarily somewhat... morose. But then she just looks fussed again. ] It's never going to be ideal. What, I go home and then I'm left wondering if some other version of me is here and I don't know or can't remember? Or worse, I don't remember anything when I go home.

[ She breathes out. ]

Still, he pushes down the bristling feeling inside of him, thankful that he's alone enough that no one can hear the range of expletives that falls from his mouth, nor the way the ground is suddenly covered in leaves that were alive and on trees a few moments ago.
