Do you believe in God? Gods? Do they exist where you're from? What about angels or demons or anything like that?

Where I'm from the existence of gods is hard to deny. People are pretty devote and religious. Church is an intrinsic part of our culture. It takes someone pretty hardheaded or self-centered to deny the existence of higher powers, but here there's not much emphasis on religion. Guess I'm just kinda curious now. Is it more like my home in your worlds, or more like this one?

Gods exist back home, very solidly. They've.....manifested quite a few times in the past thirty years.

We don't see them as often back home but they have show up a time or two in my small hometown.

I'm pretty glad to hear gods aren't just a part of my world. It's strange because this one seems to have little in the way of gods unless you count the ones brought here by the porter.

I feel the same way. Half the people I've met look at me funny for thinking that they exist in the first place, never mind as something that can affect the world directly.

People doubt weird things. I mean, c'mon. We were brought here by a machine that no one knows how to control, we've been given strange powers...

There is no reason for them to think you're less than sane just because you have a different idea of how gods work than they do.

I went to the panel Lucifer gave at Fanport, and there was a section on 'crises of faith'. As if by existing as people believed he did they would start to doubt because he exists here. it was all very odd. Perhaps it's the common idea around here that there is only one god

I almost went to that. I'm kind of glad I didn't but also a little regretful.

I'm not sure I understand what he means about it being a 'crisis of faith' unless he thinks seeing and being able to touch something completely eliminates faith. I don't think so...

I've never found it so. The gods' presence can be felt everywhere, and we have faith that they will follow the rules.

Also there's the Chamber of the Ordeal and it doesn't matter how much faith one has in that.
