[text; wee hours of the morning]
Do you believe in God? Gods? Do they exist where you're from? What about angels or demons or anything like that?
Where I'm from the existence of gods is hard to deny. People are pretty devote and religious. Church is an intrinsic part of our culture. It takes someone pretty hardheaded or self-centered to deny the existence of higher powers, but here there's not much emphasis on religion. Guess I'm just kinda curious now. Is it more like my home in your worlds, or more like this one?
[Joaquin may be slightly drunk, or perhaps he's just tired.]

Re: text
I'm not sure if I got all that but I think I might have the gist of it.
I'm guessing that means your world's gods don't ever show their faces then. It goes beyond superstition where I'm from. I've seen them. I can't say it's all based solely on faith anymore. But it's interesting to know there might be worlds out there without gods, or clear proof of one.

Or did you mean something else by that?

I simply meant that you could question individuals in greater depth. It would be more beneficial for your studies.

you know, things from home.
Not that these conversations are interesting, but I'm not a researcher. I don't mind looking up things about what I don't know, it can be fun, but I don't know if religion would be a focus I'd want to chase down forever.

But speaking of the here and now, what or who are you guarding?

All well-deserved, I'm sure.
