Mika....Bring him back, you damned Porter! Or take me home to him!

[Yup. Someone is decidedly unhappy about the Porter returning his best friend. And isn't exactly in the most logical state to acknowledge right now that it isn't under anyone's control and he can't just make such demands, such appeals to the entity inside the thing.]

I don't care how guarded it is. I want to go. If I can take vampires, I'll figure these guys easily enough. If there's a way to bring us here and take us back, there's got to be some way to figure doing this on purpose. And I want to find out.

[By being the reckless idiot he is. It's a shounen requirement, okay? But also. Well. Yuu has never taken loss or potential loss of his family well. So his reaction to Mikaela being Ported back home is probably not much of a surprise.]

The nanites? That's...how we get our powers, right? How they bring us back? But if there's a group of us, it'd be easier, wouldn't it?

[He's reckless as heck, particularly where his family is concerned, but Yuu has been told off against running off there alone at least.]

If you lack the knowledge to answer those questions on your own, then perhaps you are not yet prepared to assault Cape Canaveral.

You should also consider the reaction of the government if you fail. They could easily retaliate against imPorts, and further tighten their grip upon our lives.

The government. I guess this one does better than ours back home. But this wouldn't really be an attack on them. Just....wanting to get back or wanting to bring our friends here where it's better than back home.

[Which. Kind of shows how little he really thought this impulsive as heck plan through. If it ever really was a 'plan' to begin with....]

They will not see it that way. All they will see is a trespass against one of their most important military bases. Their response will be swift and overwhelming.

Think carefully about this. How far are you truly willing to go for the sake of going home? Or for the sake of your friends?

Tch. They should at least consider the reason behind something like that. [But, well. Government, politics, corruption and all.]

But....you have to ask? If I can't protect my family, then I'd rather die trying.

[As if this is even actually a question to the shounen brat.]

What a noble commitment. Your feelings do you credit. But think beyond your own life for a moment. Are you also prepared to sacrifice the lives of those who would stand against you? Or of the imPorts who might be caught in the crossfire of the government's retaliation?

The government -- [That does give Yuu pause, as he considers it for a moment.]

You really think they'd not just punish the ones directly involved?

Think of the things they have done in the past. The way they have treated us. I expect they would put in harsh new restrictions for all imPorts- supposedly for security, but in truth, to teach us a lesson.

Well, I haven't been here quite as long as some others yet. But...dammit.

[Freaking. Governments. Why this bs all over again with the politics and agendas.]

In time, you will learn to recognize the realities of this place, as I have. And then you will be in a far better position to alter those realities... without proposing a solitary assault on a fortified position.

A position how exactly? They aren't gonna let me in the military here until I'm eighteen or whatever, apparently. And it isn't like there's much else I know aside from fighting.

[Given his fixation on revenge for years back home. Specifically, against vampires. So such training might not even be as useful here, if the military is intended to fight other humans to an extent. Or all the better, when one considers how much easier it would be for Yuu to take on humans when he's used to vampires being seven times stronger.]

I speak of a position of wisdom, not a position of a profession. You are right of course- even if they did allow you into the military, they would never allow an imPort to access the Porter. But with knowledge and discipline, there may yet be a way for you to get what you want.

Discipline, huh? That is....that is something I should work on.

[Even being in the military hasn't changed the fact Yuu tends to pick fights, hot-headed and reckless as he is. But he's slowly learning to try work together with his squad. It's just here and now, none of them are here.]

I have been a teacher of many things. Self-defence, philosophy, meditation... In more recent times, I have been most active in educating others politically.

I'm in the military back home, so...self defense isn't an issue, though I'm better with a weapon than hand to hand. Swords, specifically. Meditation though? I've never been interested in politics myself.

[Well. Okay, politics have pretty much summed up his life, between the vampires, the humans, all of them wanting control and wanting him - or specifically, his power as a seraph.]

Meditation could be useful in helping you manage your discipline. And it can be easily learned... by those willing to dedicate themselves to the practice.

I can be disciplined. And patient.....

[Pffft. Okay, maybe he isn't the most disciplined of soldiers when he's still a brat who attempts to kick his superior.]
