[After contemplating it for the last few weeks, Nike decides it was a good time to ask about it. The question that has been in her mind for some time. A pretty important question all things considered, but was a little too shy to specifically ask anyone in her social circle about it. Maybe it would be easier if she makes it a community thing. With talk of the upcoming holidays -- that she has no idea of -- she decides it could be a good way to begin more positive conversation, so there's going to an energetic Nike popping up at the network today.]

Okay! I think it is about time we have an important discussion. [...wait.] Well, it isn't an overly important one. Like about the Porter or the alleyway mystery, but it's kinda important all the same. I mean, holidays are a big thing in this world and all, so I just thought this may be important too.

Birthdays. Are they deem as special as celebrating a holiday here? I would think it is! Maybe. [Shaking her head.] No, they have to be. I mean, how many of us would be able to celebrate them happily back home? This could be a good opportunity for all of us to experience it, if we haven't already. With how we make close connections with each other here, how many chances will we have to celebrate it once everyone returns home?

So with that said, why don't we treat this post as a birthday collecting one. Tell us your birthday. Maybe even add in birthday wishes, and dream presents and parties too. Let's go wild and really get to know each other better!

Yeah. I figured as much. That's why I asked. I'm curious to learn more about other people's cultures or mindsets. There's so many of us that we may learn something new from it.

Truth be told, I don't know when my actual birthday is, but there's a date on the file that the government gave us. They think it's September 18. What about you? When is your birthday, Sasaki?

April 2nd or December 20th. I don't celebrate it, so it doesn't make a difference. [ he doesn't celebrate it, but people still get him gifts ]

You know, it feels like saying your birthday now will just jinx it more than anything.. Like something really bad or weird will happen on that day here.

Why? Do you think it's bad luck to reveal one's birthday publicly? I mean, I know this world can be odd at times due to our powers and all, but I don't know if it would be malicious enough to do that. [She's thinking of the actual world than the people being the problem here.]

I'm sure I had an actual birthday back at home, but I don't know what it was.

I'm all for celebrating anything we can, birthdays included. Mine is [...] well, it's coming right up, the 12th of December! I suppose that means I'll have been on this Earth for nearly a year, too.
