Day 6 | Voice | FORWARD-DATED TO TOMORROW
Once, Thanksgiving was celebrated by proclamation. This nation was called to give thanks, to celebrate.
It transformed into tradition. Then an annual holiday. Now it is commonplace.
[ He pauses, purposefully. His voice is soft and calm. ]
We've been taken from our worlds. Our homes. Our times. I have been here for ten months, two weeks and four days. Some of you have been here for years. Others, much less.
In that time, is there anything in this world you are thankful for? People. Places. Things. Or perhaps thankful to be here. Or maybe you're not thankful at all. Maybe everything you're thankful for has been ripped away from you.
Regardless. Today is a day to give thanks. So tell me. What are you thankful for?

[He's seen all of those YouTube video of the Thanksgiving, pre-Black Friday mayhem mortals indulge in. It's fun to watch, regardless.]
We do not celebrate this moral day of feasts on Asgard, not that it would sto us from feasting on any given occasion. We do have other Holidays, Lammas would be the closest to a thanksgiving event, but it has already passed.

[ Someone is evidently bitter. But he quickly smooths out his tone. ]
Lammas. In August. Yes, long since passed. Will you be celebrating Yule, then?

[Loki will gladly stoke those fires.]
I find it very unlikely as no one else celebrates the holiday, twas the precurser to Christmas before it was perverted...but who am I to say anything. You would think mortals would enjoy 12 days of family, feasting, gifts, and dancing. Instead it's been wheedled down to one day...they enjoy torturing themselves.

[ He hums to himself, musing. Someone needs to do something. ]
Twelve days. One can do a lot twelve days.

[Especially when he's often greeted with punches as gifts throughout the season.]
One can do a great many things with twelve days, I agree.
