[Seems Yuu has calmed and mellowed somewhat considerably since last he purposely addressed the network himself proper. Recovered from the Porter pulling Mika back home, only through having the vampire return to him again. Still, regardless of how or why he's managing it, he is. A lot better than a few months ago. He seems in better spirits this time when he addresses the network.]

Hey everyone. Ah, happy New Year. Since that's today, I guess. But ah, seems like everyone's been enjoying themselves. [Probably an understatement, given the celebrations going on pretty much since Christmas.]

Anyway. I had a couple questions, if anyone's able to help. First off is that I guess I have been wondering, since the holidays recently and all, what everyone else celebrates back home? We're from all over, and different times, right? So, some of us probably do celebrate things differently. I guess I'm just kind of curious.

That and -- I don't suppose there's a way to block powers, like, one power specifically? I know there's the nullifiers but don't they work on all powers? It's just one of mine I want to deal with. If there is anything. I dunno, that's if there is anything, or any sort of power someone has that might help. Otherwise, I'll deal with it. I have been already for a while anyway.

[He's just more nervous about the whole seraph thing after hearing more about Nagoya since Mika initially showed up and all. He doesn't want to potentially lose control like that. Doesn't want to unintentionally end up hurting his friends when he loses control often in order to or some sort of desire, desperation, to save them.]

Alas, every nullifier I've seen have affected all powers at once. Which is a shame. There's a certain power that gives me trouble too.

Yuu-chan, don't take it so lightly. You don't know the consequences of blocking a power like that.

I don't. But....it's still got to be a better alternative to losing control here.

I might be willing to explain, but only if it's filtered, on the network. Or in person. Why, you think you can help block one specific power somehow?

It's...this isn't something I want everyone knowing about, okay? But, I was experimented on. There's this seraph gene and if I lose control, I could really do some damage and hurt people. I don't want that to happen here.

You...oh, so you get smaller. I guess something like that could be handy, but yeah. If it is a new power back home you might need some practice to control it.

If you lose control it's not your fault.

[Yuu's simply too emotional. Too human. But he doesn't judge him for that. Mika's always known his heart's too big.]

[It's been outside influences pushing at him, overwhelming him in his desire to protect his friends. But it's happened before and it could happen again, even if it hasn't yet, while he's been here.]

My file lists it as my second power here or whatever, so. Yeah. Apparently.

Both of those times were justified.

[Besides, no one got hurt. Not terribly, even though there was a chance they could have been. Mika's getting used to being stabbed in the back by now.]

What else does it do?

Maybe. I just don't want to cause that much damage or hurt anyone here. If things with the Soviets get worse, I mean....

[If things get more tense and his friends here might get involved somehow, there's no guarantee that Yuu wouldn't thus get involved himself. Wouldn't lose it at seeing them caught up in this.]

It doesn't matter whether you mind or not, it's...I already hurt you, back home. If it happens again, I don't want you getting hurt again because of me.

I don't know if you heard of the seraph in stories. They're....dangerous. Powerful. I almost killed one of my friends when I lost control. Moreso in Nagoya later on after Shinjuku. I don't remember a lot of when I lose control, but. I've heard a little from others that were there.

[Bleeding from his eye, growing demonic wings, turning enemies into salt. Literal piles of the stuff. It's not something anyone should want to see. Losing himself to the point of instinctively wanting to kill all humans.]

The seraph gene is what kept me alive when I should have -- when I actually technically died at one point too.

I do know the term, yeah.

Resurrection, yeah, I'd call that a power.

Yuu-chan, I know you. You would rather hurt yourself than hurt any of your friends.

[Not on purpose, anyway, which is the most important thing.]

I don't know if you could call it an accident or not.

[Whatever the seraph gene does to him, it turns him into something that doesn't see people the same way Yuu sees people, so it's not exactly him.]

That doesn't mean you should try to block it. For all you know, that might make it come back stronger. Next time it might be a real danger.

[Outside influences stopped him. Yuu himself had no control over it. That's what worries him, even here.]

I won't know until I try. If there even is some way to block just that without also blocking my connection with Ashuramaru.

Not like we necessarily have a choice with these powers though. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask, even if it might seem the consensus is I'd have both powers blocked with the nullifiers.

But ah, it's...Because I was experimented on. When I lose control, I tried to attack one of my friends once. I don't want that happening here. Especially if things get worse, with the Soviets. People back home already want to take advantage of the seraph gene in me.
