[When the video feed kicks in, it's Ryan sitting on his bed just staring at something across the room. He's talking into the communicator to the network at large, but his focus isn't shifting at all.]

Gotta admit…I'm still not sure I'm supposed to be here. [It's one of the rare moments he's candid, but he's immediately changing the subject.]

But I guess I really don't get a choice, do I? It's kind of weird. I sort of thought…okay, this is really stupid but just hear me out? I sort of thought maybe I could just ignore some of my powers. You know, like selective use?

[And soon Ryan's attention shifts as he turns his head and the bed shifts. In an echo of his voice, someone else speaks up.

"Yeah. Yeah, not so much…"

Ryan's grabbing the communicator and adjusting the angle then to reveal himself on the bed seated next to an identical clone of himself, right down to the pinstriped vest and matching trilby precariously balanced on his head. They've even got matching wireless headset microphones.]

Apparently not so much. [He gestures to the clone who looks marginally offended.] I got rid of the other two, but what happens when your powers turn on you? There's gotta be a way to fix it, right? Any suggestions would be great. [The clone's just grabbing the communicator from Ryan, lifting an eyebrow. It's pretty clear that this one's started to take on its own independent thoughts and actions. Ryan's just snatching it back, much to the clone's protest.]

Preferably sooner than later. Thanks in advance, I guess.

I mean I guess it's kinda mental? I had to will them into existence but now it's the whole...un-willing thing that I'm stuck with.

Got rid of how? Can't you just do it again?

[This is a video response, but no one is in the frame. It's just the sky above, which is a relaxing view but still probably a little weird for a conversation. The voice sounds like it might belong to an adolescent male.]

[...give him a second just to stare for a minute. Either invisibility, or he's being super-hero-Punk'd. What else could it be? Actually there's a lot of other things it could be but that doesn't matter. Sure. He'll talk to the sky.]

The other two just sort of disappeared, I didn't even have to do much. This one's the first one. [The clone's busy climbing off of the bed, already bored with the conversation.] Maybe I just have to wait it out? Unless you've got a better idea.

[Nope, not a better idea. Sorry dude, he's new to this super power stuff.]
