[ The video starts with Kaneki sitting on an old couch, in a place that looks like an old warehouse. There are old kitchen appliances there as well, some seem to be in good shape, but most are broken and battered. He is also holding on to a file of sort, which he will be reading as he speaks ]

Last month we had a black-out and following that, someone released hundreds of criminals. Like it was mentioned before, someone heard German being spoken and Russian technology was found on the scene. Some of us decided to go after a couple of clues related to all of that, and that lead us to Liechtenstein. In Europe, yes, a Russian allied country and they speak German there. [ This was the first time he went to Europe, actually, and it was on a spy mission. There is something to say about that ]

We found a couple of things, which I believe you’d be interested in. [ he finally starts flipping through the pages of the folder he has in his hands ] The place we broke in was a laboratory and we found many references to the American technological company DARPA - known for the creation of the imPocreats that had attacked Philadelphia some months ago. The employees they referenced in these files, including those who helped creating imPocreat technology, either quit prior to the Philadelphia attacks or were fired after the fact and none of them work for DARPA. [ he looks back at the camera ] In fact, we found a few imPocreats submerged in tanks. They were experimenting on them in many different and kind of grotesque ways, but we aren’t sure what they were trying to do since there was no documentation. [ no way he is telling the network they actually stole one of those things. That’s something for later on. He is quick to go back to the file to continue reading it. ]

They also had documentation on Tony Stark's metahumans . It was mostly information that the public already knows, but it seems they have been experimenting on DNA with special interest in the idea of a metahuman gene. Along with this, we also found documentation on imPort powers, specifically what we have shown to the public before.

Finally, the foreign technology the laboratory was working on appeared to be Russian in nature. They have advanced and futuristic EMPs and Electronic Disruptors, and plans and prototypes for invisibility aeroplanes that appear to be able to achieve fuel efficiency for around-the-world journeys. [ Kaneki puts down the file and leans back in his seat, while one of his gloved hands reaches for the eyepatch covering the left eye and adjusts it ]

That's all. But if you have any questions, I can try answering. The USA government knows all of this, since we shared this information with them.

[ Note: Some sort of catch-up if you will! Misfire plot, which was followed by a Blackout and Prison break. The Prison break was investigated ICly by other characters and their findings can be found here. The mission Kaneki is talking about happened in private, but I’ve written everything down about how it all begun and what happened during it. The ImPocreat parts they stole are NOT available YET and no one but the members of this mission knows about it; this will be for a future plot, but for now it’s hidden. ]

Did you get pictures of the imPocreates? You might not have been able to tell what they were doing, but others of us might be more useful.

We really were missing those. We already have hoovercars, after all.

Yes, we did. In fact, we recorded the whole thing with the mental link to the network. [ Darlene has that feed saved somewhere, but he is sure she is willing to share ]

I'd like to speak to you about something, Doctor- do you remember that Morse-coded message on the majority Report back in... August, I believe.

Shoot me a DM or something with the pictures. [ said with the confidence that he straight up knows what DM means, look at him, he's a hip grandpa. But as for the morse code, the Doctor nods. ]

If we're getting technical, it was a combination of Morse code, Caesar ciphers, and ASCII characters on their end and number substitution and keyword ciphers on mine. But what about it?

[ Doctor... no... Kaneki doesn't have the heart to correct him. But he will send him the pictures, yes. They are of a few imPocreats submerged in tanks, but their forms have been twisted; some of their artificial skin will have been stripped bare, and their forms compromised in grotesque ways.

Kaneki won't tell the Doctor they actually stole a couple... that's something for another time. ]

I'm just checking out other leads we have missed thus far. Did they say anything else to you?

No, we just talked over the Majority Report. What do they have to do with anything?

I'm not sure. Like I said, we are just checking out leads. For example, Liechtenstein was found thanks to a conspiracy theorist who usually claims the government is sending chemtrails to the air.

He sounded insane, yet he lead us to all of this.

[ so kaneki isn't dismissing anything anymore ]

I can try to get my code buddies to make an appearance again. I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve.

I think it's better not - for now. Since we just found out a lot of information and we don't know what leads to what.

Also, who do you think it could help with the imPocreats?

There's always a market for big nasty monsters to go attack the city and serve as a distraction while you do something else. Those imPocreats could help anybody.

Oh I'm sure. But these were available before - what we have been wondering is what the scientists were doing with them.

My guess would be making them bigger and nastier. Maybe they're trying to recreate our powers into them? After all, there is documentation on imPort powers, that's a possible guess right there.

Hm. It's a big possibility, yes. Also because of the genetic research they are doing.

A cyborg and hologram creature army is a lot more impressive if it's a cyborg and hologram creature army but also with laser eyes.

And yet, it wouldn't be the weirdest thing we've dealt with.

It wouldn't be anything close to the weirdest thing I've dealt with either.

Otherworldly Technologies Organization, the ones who made the imPocreats. It was their facility we infiltrated.

It figures, though. I've got a terrible track record with regard to flirting, of course they'd end up involved in shady business.

You don't have to tell me, I have plenty of history flirting with shady people.

But I don't suppose it should be that surprising. They started out already sounding pretty sinister. They promised a shake-up, didn't they? I don't know what that could describe, if not Philadelphia.

It also explains why they didn't take my invitation. It's a bit hard to pop over to a watch shop in Florida if you're based in Lichtenstein.

And too preoccupied with all of the dastardly schemes they'll have to come up with! Still, I'm sure if they need to make time bombs, they'll come to you for the clocks.

You'd think they'd have taken me up on that visit to begin with! Old doddering imPort with weirdo alien DNA, I'd be the perfect bait.
