[There was too much to say right now. Too many questions to ask. Too many things to take in. Too many things to be put into perspective. Nike was having a difficult time with the serious of events that led her here. She needed to find somewhere quiet to contemplate, somewhere that her senses didn't feel they were literally on fire. This world was loud! So very loud and hot, and felt -- dare she say -- difficult and unknown. It felt strange, almost like meeting a stranger for the first time which wasn't normal. No matter which part of the world she goes to, the voices she find there will always feel familiar, even if it holds a different feeling. Whatever the case, she decided to use the strange device to communicate with "those like her", as they explain it to her as. Holding the camera to face an angry fox, as she didn't feel very comfortable showing herself at the moment. That is, if she is doing any of this correctly.]

I...I don't know if this is working or not! I'm just...taking a moment to center it all!

[She was yelling as loud as she can without her throat burning. Without having to breath too much of the strange air, even if she was facing the ocean, that should have cleaner air, which can be seen behind the arctic fox pup and heard -- it was clear she was in Heropa.]

Slan!! Are you here!? Can you hear me!? I have Ryuka with me right now! He's okay!! He was healed from the wasp stings from earlier! So don't worry! I promise he is safe! Just get back to me, okay!?

[All of this yelling made it seem as though she was either deaf or having difficulty in hearing, it was clear that Nike was overwhelm. Why does it hurt? The video feed will begin to shake until it lowers further to the ground, away from the scowling fox, showing she was sitting on the ground, hugging her knees.]

How do you turn down the volume!? I can barely hear anything! Livi! Livi!! Can you hear me!? Sense me!? I'm here!! I'm right here!!! [Wherever "here" was, but she was alive, taken against her will.] Don't be scared, don't cry or get angry; just be here, safe... [Said in a more normal tone, it was clear she was trying to whisper.]

[He was too quiet. Compare to everything else surrounding her along with her own concerns mixing in, Nike wouldn't have notice the response if it weren't for the item in her hand vibrating and making a sound. That will catch her attention as she turns to it, curious.]

[The item changed to the image of someone she didn't recognize, but had no idea if it was normal or not for it to do.]

[All she can do is observe him, wondering if he was close by or had any information over her situation. There was a lot of questions she wanted to ask, but for now she will stick in trying to make sense of the situation with the talking man, who knows her name, in the little box she was holding.]

I don't know where I am! Everything is so loud! I can't find Livi or Slan any where! There's a lot of things that are wrong right now! I don't recognize many things here!

[Not to mention a stranger knows her, but she can let that slide because it wouldn't be odd for someone to recognize her.]

[Doesn't know where... Oh. Oh no. Normie's face is briefly one of shock as realization sets in with exactly what Nike is saying. The Nike he knew--or more accuarately, the Nike who knew him--was gone.

[That's the young woman he cherishes so much, but she sounds...unusually distressed, and unfamiliar with the environment. He knows there's been a rise in hauntings lately, but something must be very wrong. The old man's frowning already, but it's out of concern.]

[There will be an abnormal pause as she stares weakly at her screen, not really understanding the meaning behind his words. It'll motivate her enough to actually inspect the item in her hands, wondering if he was talking about that or something else.]

Do you mean the unusual round bumps on this thing!? Will it really help!?

[For now, she won't answer his first question as she didn't want to reveal too much, not until she gets a better idea about her new situation.]

[Nike will begin to play around with the buttons, finding something is rising and declining, but not what she wanted. Her ears was still picking up on the voices in her surroundings.]

It isn't working! I can still hear everything at full volume! This town is really loud!!

[When she readjusts her phone, she'll catch her name being said. It'll leave her quiet. Normally, it wasn't odd for someone to recognize her, being the future queen of the world, but....this wasn't her world; wasn't it?]

Hurt!? No! No one has hurt me! [Um, how to ask.] Are you from the Sun Kingdom?!

N-Nike....? What...? As far as I know, Livi isn't here. Just take a deep breath, try point the phone around you so I can figure where you are. I'll come find you and we'll figure this.

[Whatever it is that just happened. He doesn't recall her having the fox but he does definitely still recognize her voice. Yuu's expression worried and confused as he looks to the phone's camera in spite of himself, lips pursed as he runs a hand through his mop of hair, revealing the earrings she'd given him.]

[Another unrecognizable voice will be overheard after her phone alerted via vibration and ring. Nike will turn her attention to the boy after subconsciously following some of his instructions: taking a deep breath. Truth be told, she only did it because he mentioned the nickname she gave her husband.

Did he know him or was he repeating her? She didn't recognize him. He didn't look like anyone from the palace staff nor child from an important family neither. At least, one she has ever met. But, it wasn't long until she notices his ears. Was that...?

Nike will touch her own ear rings, feeling extremely curious over the other boy's identity now. That's the reason behind her motivation to follow his next request to allow him to know where she was: the lighthouse close to the shore in Heropa.]

That's...the lighthouse? I'll be there soon, Nike!

[But he does want to help. Somehow. If she'll let him. She seems curious or herself enough to not question him and allow him to figure where she is to come find her and help, at least. Yuu turns off the phone while then rushing out from whatever it was he happened to be doing, to go and find her, heading to the beach in the direction of the lighthouse.

It isn't long before he spots her, calling out and waving as he sprints the last of the distance, coming to a stop and pausing to catch his breath, hands to his knees in front of her.]

[Nike was simply too stunned and curious in wanting to make any questions. Along with that, she didn't feel comfortable talking to someone by using a little box neither. If he was somehow connected to her kingdom, her family specifically, then it was better to talk to him in person. That's what she thinks, at least.

Nike will remain in her same spot while Ryuka remains by her side, curled up as he decides to take a nap while awaiting for any news of its master. She was trying to get a better grip of her situation in the meantime. When she hears her name being called, she'll notice someone was standing in front of her. Her attention will turn to the boy, silently observing him for a moment, before she gives him a weak smile.]

[To be fair, she didn't expect him to find her so quickly, which leaves her to wonder if he lives close by, in such a large town like this one. Ryuka will keep a close eye on the boy, watching him with caution to not get too close to him or the girl.]

[And Livi. She seemed so upset over him, being separated. At the least, Yuu doesn't approach too close, not yet, so he doesn't give Ryuka an excuse to think he's a threat. That he's wearing casual clothes probably helps, rather than his Japanese Imperial Demon Army uniform.

If he noticed her gone, knowing, remembering some others showed up within a day of being missing, he'd tried not to panic too much, but even so. He has yet to establish if she remembers much if anything of her time here, with him and everyone else.]

[Nike will remain silent, wondering if this was what the other man meant by other people knowing a different version of her. Did this person know her too? Nike will bring the little device closer to her as she adjusts her way of sitting, bringing the device down to her knees.

Her expression will change upon noticing the individual in front of her. The way they looked was so very different. Almost like a troll found in fairytales except not as monstrous. Actually, they looked quite feminine. Why did she look like a mix between a human and monster? She looked better than what she expect a fairy to look, even.]

Ah, um!! The town is really loud!! There's so many people and the air burns a bit! It tastes and smells different!! Is this normal?!

[ Okay. Nike doesn't know what Kanaya's talking about, or she's under too much distress to really think about what she's saying. It certainly sounds like it might be related to her powers, at least as she'd described them before. The air burns, not the sun? ]

I don't think someone who isn't very extraordinarily in tune with her environment would notice if it wasn't. [ She has one guess what this might, might as well ask. ] Have you only just arrived?

[She wasn't wrong. Nike figures her senses are trying to figure out her new situation by searching for something that is in common to her world. It'd be easier to reconnect to her surroundings if she had a large amount of black lotus stones to cut the connection with and another rain summoner to help her reconnect soon afterwards. None of those options are available to her right now. All she can do is try to concentrate on something else for the time being, and for now the other girl was helping by simply speaking to her.]

...yes!! We did! A few hours ago!

Ah. [ Something strains slightly in her smile as she forces it more. That was stupid, she has rules for dealing with new port-ins for a reason, to not confuse them or make her look like a fool. Better for everyone not to act like you know someone until you're sure they know you. Though the timing's pretty short here, so it caught her by surprise.

[ Mikleo's always one to stay calm in distressing situations, and this was no exception. With the way that Nike was asking the network as she was, it was almost as though she'd--

[The voice that began to speak was a little louder than most of the other sounds currently surrounding her. It'll catch her attention before the devices get the chance to do it for her. Her curious gaze will fall onto the person on her small device which will leave her a little startled by his colors. Pure white hair, purple eyes, and white skin -- his hair color reminded her a little of Slan's own color except his seem almost paler than her own hair. And although she has golden eyes, Nike will quickly get a hold of Ryuka, her white fox pup, as she places attention to him on the screen.]

Do you recognize him?!

[A question she was asking both to the boy before her and the fox too. The only response she'll get from the pure white fox pup will be him sniffing her item and nothing more.]

[ Miklwo blinks in surprise at that, backing away a little from the device before he clears his throat. He hadn't exactly been expecting for it to get--that close to the screen. ]

... I-- I don't. I'm sorry. [ Then - did she-- really not recognize him at all? It makes his heart sink and makes him stop. So, all the memories they had before--

No, they've become friends again before, hadn't they? And... They could certainly become friends again. ]

[The pup will look away, dispirited over the smell of the human being the same as the tool in front of him; it'll whine a little. Nike figures neither one of them were acquainted at all.]

Oh, that's okay. It was worth a shot. You look a little like his owner. She has the same skin color and similar hair color like you. I thought you were part of her troupe. [It was a little disappointing. She wanted to learn more about Slan and her people. But now with that out of the way, Nike was more curious to learn about the pretty boy in front of her. Where was he from and were there more people that look like him?] Where are you from? Are there other people with the same colors as you too?

[ Mikleo feels himself visibly relax slightly when that pup backs away, sighing a little before straightening. At least now he can speak to her without any sort of distraction. ]

My color? [ He can't help but a blink a little at her questions. Did she still think she was at home? It'd make sense with the sort of questions that she was asking. In that case, he'd like to be able to help her - to inform her of her situation here. ] ... I'm from a continent from Glenwood. It's not a location in this world, however. Yours isn't as well, right?
