[There was too much to say right now. Too many questions to ask. Too many things to take in. Too many things to be put into perspective. Nike was having a difficult time with the serious of events that led her here. She needed to find somewhere quiet to contemplate, somewhere that her senses didn't feel they were literally on fire. This world was loud! So very loud and hot, and felt -- dare she say -- difficult and unknown. It felt strange, almost like meeting a stranger for the first time which wasn't normal. No matter which part of the world she goes to, the voices she find there will always feel familiar, even if it holds a different feeling. Whatever the case, she decided to use the strange device to communicate with "those like her", as they explain it to her as. Holding the camera to face an angry fox, as she didn't feel very comfortable showing herself at the moment. That is, if she is doing any of this correctly.]

I...I don't know if this is working or not! I'm just...taking a moment to center it all!

[She was yelling as loud as she can without her throat burning. Without having to breath too much of the strange air, even if she was facing the ocean, that should have cleaner air, which can be seen behind the arctic fox pup and heard -- it was clear she was in Heropa.]

Slan!! Are you here!? Can you hear me!? I have Ryuka with me right now! He's okay!! He was healed from the wasp stings from earlier! So don't worry! I promise he is safe! Just get back to me, okay!?

[All of this yelling made it seem as though she was either deaf or having difficulty in hearing, it was clear that Nike was overwhelm. Why does it hurt? The video feed will begin to shake until it lowers further to the ground, away from the scowling fox, showing she was sitting on the ground, hugging her knees.]

How do you turn down the volume!? I can barely hear anything! Livi! Livi!! Can you hear me!? Sense me!? I'm here!! I'm right here!!! [Wherever "here" was, but she was alive, taken against her will.] Don't be scared, don't cry or get angry; just be here, safe... [Said in a more normal tone, it was clear she was trying to whisper.]

[He's only looking more worried. She knew this, didn't she?]

[He searches her face for signs of traumatic injury. Nothing, but.]

[Nike will begin to play around with the buttons, finding something is rising and declining, but not what she wanted. Her ears was still picking up on the voices in her surroundings.]

It isn't working! I can still hear everything at full volume! This town is really loud!!

[When she readjusts her phone, she'll catch her name being said. It'll leave her quiet. Normally, it wasn't odd for someone to recognize her, being the future queen of the world, but....this wasn't her world; wasn't it?]

Hurt!? No! No one has hurt me! [Um, how to ask.] Are you from the Sun Kingdom?!

No, I'm from Hill Valley, 1985...well, 1885 at my most recent, but that's another issue.

[He's worried about the noise distressing her, but even more worried about...]

Do you remember me at all?

[She'll be concentrating fully on his voice in an attempt to cancel out the excess noise currently surrounding her. It was working, and although she didn't fully comphrehend his explanation, as she's never heard of the location he was from, she was eagerly listening all the same.]

I've never heard of Hill Valley! What's it like!?

[His next question will leave her thoughful though. Has she met him before? His face and voice didn't feel familiar. A small frown will form as she regretfully shakes her head.]

...I'm sorry, but...you don't look very familiar to me.

[All said rather softly, or as softly as someone that was using their outdoor voice can.]

[His face falls. His dear girl doesn't know him? It could still be injury, but the most likely cause is a swap in timelines---the porter tended to do that at times, he knew.]

It's a suburban town---meaning there are plenty of businesses and people about, and plenty of vehicular pollution clogging the air, but still enough space to see green and trees. Not like the crowded cities we reside in here.

[His emotions are still somewhat riled. He forces himself to take a breath and think through what's happened before answering her further.]

I don't want to alarm you, but before you head out to greet us, you should know that many of us know you---or an alternate version of you, at the least. It's difficult to explain, and I'm not the kind of doctor qualified to diagnose anyone.

But shall I try to explain? I'll take it slowly...well, I suppose I should start by introducing myself. I'm Dr. Brown, just a wayward professor. Pleased to meet you.

[He means it, he really does. He can smile through this.]

[Already there were terms he was using that she didn't really recognize, leaving her silent as she tries to figure them out by the context of their conversation. The pollution he is speaking about may be the reason behind the air and atmosphere feeling as hot as it is. There's definitely something toxic about it. It stinks a little too.

Just when she wanted to ask more about vehicular pollution, he begins to explain another impossible concept that will leave her stun. There are other people who know another version of her? Her expression will definitely betray the way she was feeling now.]

Wait, wait, wait!!! What do you mean by any of this!? By another version of me!?

[He definitely had a lot of explaining to do because she is feeling more than alarmed now -- she's very confused!]

Where am I, and how long was this other version of me here for!? Let's start from there first!

[Okay, Doc. Rewind. Start slow. He forces himself to breathe again, trying his best to smile.]

The other you---or at least, that's what I believe to be the case---she was here for almost a year. And 'here' is the country called United States of America, the year 2016. You were last in the city of De Chima...are you still there now? If you can swing the screen around, facing different directions, I'll know for sure.

[For almost a year she was stuck here? Nike will remain silent, feeling even more puzzled the more he spoke. At least now, she has a name for the location she was in and year, which was almost weird to hear such a high number. Nike will look pensive as her gaze is on her surroundings, she'll show the man she was close by Heropa's shore, leaning against a lighthouse.]

I don't know! I really don't! I was told too many things today! I can't remember it all. They gave me a file and something to use to communicate! That's it.

[Putting the item down, next to her where Ryuka's face will appear as it smells the item the human was hold before, while Nike looks through all the pages with unease.]

What is this? Is this all about me?

[Doc takes a breath. She's close. He can go to her if she requests it, and that helps.]

Yes. It's what the government was able to collect about you and your supernatural abilities. They may be different than what you're used to.

We were brought here because it was believed we could help protect this world...or something like that. In exchange for housing and support, we do our best to protect this new home.

[That's the very simplified version, missing his own choice to abstain, but he's trying to take things slowly.]

[Nike will begin to desperately look through her paperwork after being informed about her abilities being tampered with. Luckily, she found the information regarding it: the rain song. A sigh of relief will escape as she realizes from skimming through the sections she could read that her powers continue to hold the same principle. There were portions that were hidden, but she wasn't too worried about them. They could have made a mistake and it was their attempt to hide it. Hopefully.

Her gaze will return to the man, realizing.]

I have the power to levitate and become a weapon too? Is this what you meant by my powers being different now? I was given more? Is this normal?

[For now, she won't continue the conversation concerning the protection of this world nor the silent agreement between those like her and whoever brought them to this one yet. She's going to go through every thing one at a time. For once.]

Yes. People can gain new powers or have them removed or altered. I had no supernatural abilities before arriving here, and now I manipulate electricity.

[It was strange to find out other people having supernatural abilities; however it made her feel more at ease all the same. By his explanation: he was another victim like she was. Which means, she can definitely trust him. He had nothing to do with separating her from Livi.]

Where is it? Do you work there?

[He flexes his fingers, willing a bolt of lightning to shoot up from his palm. He wills it to wrap back down and around, slowly weaving itself into a larger ball of crackling light.]

Like this! It can be larger. At its strongest I can wrap it around myself and a few allies for protection.

As for the school, it's right here in Heropa and specializes in educating imPorts. We provide guidance in controlling your abilities, and education from basic to advanced levels on the sciences.

[The way he is able to control the bolt with such ease will have her complete attention and astonishment.]

That's amazing! I have seen other summon it from the sky, but never to will it the way you have to such a degree.

[The school he begins to talk about has her attention, but...]

imPorts? Is that what we are? [A slight pause.] That all sounds incredible though. How much does it cost to attend?

Well, it's a nicer term than 'mutants'. You'll find that some of the locals don't entirely trust us, but we're here for each other.

[He sighs. He's heard that one before---but he must be more positive.]

It won't cost you. It's in all of our interest if everyone's able to get up to speed in this world. If you'd like to come visit, I'd be happy to show you---though I'm still fairly new to the school myself.

[His explanation will have her feeling silent as she can...sense some of those feelings. But there was one in particular she can feel the most.]

Most of them are frightened...there's an unease in the air...almost like something is influencing it. Are all these feelings truly connected to us?

[In her opinion, there must be more to it because it wouldn't make sense for the government to be so accommodating when their citizens are feeling as troubled as they do. To be fair, she does sense willingness underneath the negative too. There are some positive emotions too. It gives her hope.]

I don't mind! I'll be happy to visit. I'm curious about it. Places of learning aren't...really common in my world as of yet. Not the way as this one is. We can get to know the grounds together, if you don't mind it?

Not directly. There's a general state of unrest, the reason people with these abilities were brought here in the first place. This is a dangerous world, and it needs heroes. Or so they say.

And it'd be my pleasure to introduce you to the campus. I hope we'll find a class that you'll enjoy.
