[ Faith's been pondering this broadcast for a while, mostly the best way to go about it. She also wanted to wait for at least one more round of new arrivals to show up, to make it more difficult to narrow her identity down. Now seems as good a time as any. ]

[it was why Jonathan had registered initially, and the feeling that he could do some good in their system kept him that way. it was hardly a binding contract, however - if he felt moving against their edicts was the right thing to do, he'd go without a moment's hesitation.]
Something to consider is that whether you register or not, there are nanites in your blood. At present there is no way to be truly free of the government.

No, apparently those are entirely the Porter's doing. The nanites are responsible for reviving you should you die.
