Didn't no one ever tell ya? Those're the magic words. Now, you say 'em or you don't, I'm gonna find yer tiger either way. But you don't say 'em and I might just forget ta tell ya when I do.

[He'll be landing at the house soon enough to get on the trail. Tetsuo might be able to 'hear' him getting closer.]

[There is, sadly, not any trail of Fubuki at the house, but she starts at the garage. And wanders everywhere. Wherever she's gotten off to, it's possibly not even in Nonah anymore.]

[Cause that's how it works right?

When Daryl gets there, her trail is easy enough to pick up. Seriously, she's a mechanical tiger. Her claws do more incidental damage just by existing. Finding and following her trail is going to be elementary. Time consuming maybe, but not that hard.]

[Guess that was how it worked. Daryl did his best to keep his mind focused on the task of hunting the robot tiger once Tetsuo did show up so he wasn't sending any bad thoughts the kid's way. Well, worse than normal. And nothing to do with his brother's- nope. stopping that thought before it forms. Tiger tracks. Mechanical tiger tracks. That's what he's gonna think about.

...oh shit, a chipmunk. Haven't seen those out in months. Spring really had come, hasn't it? Nice to see. Probably getting ready to have itself lots of little babies, too. Chipmunks for everyone. Terrible eating, though.
