For those of you who were once human and are no longer, regardless of how long it's been, do you wish to go back to that fragile state or stay as you currently are? Whatever that is.
Or, for the humans, would you be so willing to give up your humanity for whatever power or little perk you might get from being some other... thing?
[ Just consider her a very old vampire who is confused with the number of those she comes across who seem ashamed-- unhappy even or not having fully accepted what they are. Self-love is important, right? ]

Is death something that concerns you then? Since you claim you would for a loved one.

My, that certainly must be something to feel. Am I to assume you weren't a ghost from the beginning then?

i was never cursed with humanity. i don't understand why anyone would ever want to be one, though i can see humans wanting to be something less weak.

Makes them seem rather self-conscious doesn't it?

When i was human things were going really bad for me but things got better after i became a vampire mostly?

But to answer your question... no, I wouldn't. I've seen what happens to those that do- who abandon their humanity because they feared death or sought power but didn't want to take the hard path to it.

And what have you seen become of them? Have they turned themselves into monsters?
