There's plenty of reasons. Any time something disastrous happens to the cities America wants us in, it won't step in to help right away. We're on our own most of the time. In addition, it seems to expect us to fight their battles for them, or protect its citizens, while it won't extend that courtesy to us. And the choice to register or not... is it really a choice at all?

Wow...really? It must've changed a bit since I was here. The part about stepping back and making imPorts do the work, I mean. Before...it wasn't so much like that. It was more...like we were TRYING to collaborate and help.

USSR declared war on America. They kidnapped some ImPorts. They also invaded America to take over ImPort areas. In both cases the response was delayed or left for ImPorts to handle.

There was a blackout across the Porter cities more recently, followed by an invasion of soldiers from other parts of history.
