[Was that a mask? The visual shows what appears to be some sort of skeletal alien mask and the voice that accompanies it sounds oddly mechanical. Some here may recognize the cyborg General, even if just from historical records. While arriving as human, he'd quickly discovered his powers of transformation from the files he was given then after some brief experimenting he settled on the one he'd last been most familiar with. At least for now.]

Citizens. Heroes.

[The emphasized word seems to catch in his throat and there's a brief cough before he continues with an underlying growl to his tone.]

This is an unfortunate development. I was interrupted in the midst of a critical battle. I do not have time to deal with your little world's problems.

[The words are interrupted again by more coughing then an annoyed growl before the video cuts out abruptly.]

Darth Sidious. [Suspicions confirmed! He never asked if the Sith Lord had any other apprentices. It's not particularly important to him, but he might be rash and reckless in thinking so.]

[He's not quite trusting that this isn't some lie. After all, last he knew of Anakin, he was side by side with Obi-Wan but if it's a lie then it's a very convincing one. For the time being, he decides to give Anakin the benefit of the doubt.]

Then we are on the same side, working for the same purpose.

[Even if that purpose he assumed had to be put aside in this new world.]

[The only time Anakin will be side by side with Obi-Wan again is if his lightsaber is drawn and he is cutting down his previous Master; a rather sad testament to their bond and their friendship as a whole. But he isn't one to fight fate and how else can be explain Sidious's presence in his life?]

For the moment. [There is one Padawan/soon-to-be Jedi that he will not be harming. He just needs more time to change Luke's mind.] An interesting twist, wouldn't you say?

What have you been doing here in this new world?

Trying to find parts to build a ship. I've visited all of the cities, but - [He sighs, heavily.] They're not easy to come by. I'll have to end up making some of them myself.

When you finish this ship, do you think that you can leave this planet?

I'm going to try. I wanna see what's up there and how far I can get.

Who else knows of this plan of yours?

Nearly everyone I've spoken to so far. [He shrugs.] Most think I'm crazy.

But you believe that you have a good chance of escape.

A chance. I never said it was good.

Now if I can get into their space program, my odds might be improved.

What is this space program?

It is their primitive way of trying to reach the stars. I am told they were excited to land on their moon.

What about beyond that?

I can't say they've accomplished much. But they've gone into space, at least. I can make adjustments.

Their technology appears to be very lacking...

And yet they have managed to take and hold us all here.

We should give them a hand with that.

Interesting, isn't it? Makes me wonder what they're hiding.
