[ Not wanting anybody to see his face, Kylo switches the video off before pressing record. He takes a deep breath, not really satisfied with having to do this - he should be able to find out more about this place and find the people he is looking for without any assistance - but this place is large and this seems much more efficient. The technology is outdated, the small device similar to a datapad but much less useful and without a holo function. This must be something that pre-dates his parents, his grandparents, even. ]

This place, I'm not familiar with it. It's not where I'm supposed to be, not even in our galaxy, yet...

[ He pauses, taking a breath, giving himself a moment to gather his thoughts and center himself. There are Force users here, more than one, and he's certain of it. He'll search every city until he finds them, burn them down, kill them all until he finds what he's looking for. However, if anybody can give him any information, save him from traveling through each city until he finds them... ]

Tell me where Skywalker and Solo are. I know they're here, I can feel it.

This place is where no one is supposed to be.

[ Kylo switches the camera off again to reply, not quite ready to show his face to those he knows or to those he doesn't know. Replying to this girl is a waste of his time, time that could be spent looking for Luke, Han, the other Force users; he doesn't think she'll be particularly useful for getting any additional information on their surrounding, either.

But, sometimes people can be surprising. ]

Yet we've found ourselves here against our wills. Why do you think that is?

[ Questions like that weren't answered when he arrived, the only answer being given that he didn't have a choice. ]

Apparently we have been brought here to be heroes of this world, although by now it simply seems to be a malfunction of the teleporter.

I have been told that it is controlled by a rogue AI.

Heroes? [ He can't help but laugh at this. Kylo Ren is no hero. ] If they were looking to bring in heroes, they've certainly made several mistakes that I can see.

[ For one, his father is here and he is no hero. Two, both himself and General Hux are what most would classify as villains. The list could go on and on. ]

Is that why there are others here? Those who weren't meant to be heroes?

[boy full offense but that laugh is a bit off-putting..]

Well yes. It is apparently a glitch in the system, and there is no telling who or what this AI brings in, or why it's really happening.

[a pause, and then...]

These people you are seeking, Skywalker and Solo, are they...friends of yours?

[ He decides not to answer the question truthfully. This person needn't know his business. ]

Acquaintances. It has been years since I've spoken to either man, so I would like to speak with both men. It's rare that we find ourselves on the same planet.

Well, you will be planetbound together for some time, then, until either they or you get Ported out.

When I arrived, my friends had been here...for far longer than I otherwise would have suspected. Some even seem to be taken from the past, so do not be alarmed if you remember things that they do not.

[ All of this sounds so ludicrous. ]

[ Though, being taken from their galaxy from different points in time would explain why his father is still alive. It's ridiculous, this whole situation, but maybe what she says has some truth to it. ]
