summer road trip (video)
[Cue Doc, wearing one of his usual luau shirts. He's leaning against his latest creation: almost reminiscent of the car he's famous for, but with a few modern concessions. Like not hitting his head on the gullwing doors every time, to start.]
Evening, everyone! Dr. Brown here. As the school moves to the summer sessions, I'll be shifting my attention to Maurtia Falls part-time. Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Ambassador Baelish, I'm able to host a basic course on everyday automobile repair. I find it's often a helpful skill in tight spots, and with the proper tools and training...
[He steps forward, reaches into his pocket and presses a button. The engines rev up, and the car switches into hover mode. It worked this time! He looks pleased (and a little more relieved than perhaps he should be).]
Almost anything is possible---though that might take a few courses. I'll be teaching Thursday nights at the Maurtia Falls library starting next week. Formal signups are unnecessary, just RSVP and I'll have everything prepared. I hope to see you there, and that we can continue the sessions with advanced courses!

video - i'm sorry this canon is the stupidest thing
[literally.]
How did you and Biff get back to 2015? None of us could figure it out. Well, Swerve had a theory but it was a bit silly.
video - it's all good!
And what was Swerve's theory?
video - bless this man
He thought it was them two trees! That they were a wormhole enigma!

It's possible events of temporal significance might have strange properties, like the discrepancies in our memories, but I'd have to conduct further research.
But I'm not sure which arrival in 2015 you're referring to. At my point in time, I only arrived there once, with Marty and Jennifer. Tannen stole my time machine at that point and altered the past, bringing us back to a ruined 1985, we traveled back to 1955 to reverse his alterations...and then I found myself stranded in 1885 after that lightning storm. That's as far along my own timeline that I am, unless there's another me that I'm not yet familiar with.

I'll give you a hint. It wasn't a car.

Was it a train?

[How small could it be? Perhaps a magical artifact?]

A briefcase!

It had to contain something of use. A flux capacitor, an entry point...something.
It hasn't come with you, has it?

Which is also kind of weird because the stuff Brainstorm usually builds is... metaphysical, whatever that means.

How did the planet survive without a sun?

I heard he made a gun that shoots ennui once. My buddy Pipes got shot with it and almost shrugged himself to death. Poor little guy, would've been better than how he did go...
Will I be learning any skills that might aid me in adding a flux capacitor to my motorcycle?
Asking for a friend.
Absolutely not.
But I'm considering a smaller vehicles course for later that might interest you.
Think about it.
I both love and hate the way you think.
But I would like to see you again.
Also, this internet thing has gotten crazy addictive.

I wonder if my dogs could be trained to do something amusing.
Anyway, you've earned your rest! But whenever you're in the mood to visit, the door's open.
As for the dogs: Put something on their heads and take a picture. That's a goldmine right there.

[ accompanied by a dopey grin, he's so funny you guys. ]
I am not sending my dogs hurtling through time and space on their own.

closes mouth.
raises eyebrow. ]
Well.
I'm not doing it again. There's too much at stake in an alternate reality.
Clearly what your dog needs is all of those things listed, at once.

The boys will be eager to see you, they've missed being spoiled. Gold enjoys their company, but he's more stern.

[It was difficult to not feel excited upon seeing Doc's new vehicle and announcement.]
That's one of those flying carriages, right!? No wait. Floating vehicles....is the correct term, right?
( video )
[He winks.]
How have you been, my dear?
( video )
[With a tiny wave of her hand.]
I've been better! Still, getting used to all the surprise security patting and inspections while predicting Florida's public transport schedule. Did you know it doesn't use the same time as the day before? They're so disorganized! I sometimes end up having to come to work an hour early whenever I guessed the next time to be too early. [Siiiighing.] ...how about you? Have you been getting many students to ask for a RSVP? [Whatever that is, but she'll never admit to not knowing what it is neither.]
( video )
[He smiles.]
I'm so sorry. That doesn't sound like my idea of fun at all. We're going to be a small class, but that may be for the better.
