[ let’s start with important things. After a sigh, he finally starts: ]
Hinami-chan has left. I know some of you know a bit about our world, but I want to assure you that she is fine. [ well. As much as she can be given the situation ] I come from three years ahead of her and she has grown to be an amazing person, strong and still very sweet. She is alright. [ And that’s why this isn’t as difficult as he thought it would be. Because of course Hinami couldn’t live here forever, but at least Kaneki knows how she is now. ]
Also, most of my employees were ported out, so if anyone would be interested in helping out at the :Re Café, spots are open. Until then, the coffee shop will only open from 4pm to 2am. [ it’s an unusual schedule, but of course he is thinking of the vampire clients and similar ]
That aside- I have been here for almost three years and I realize that I barely know anything about computers and technology. [ he means hacking. ] I should have done this long ago – is anyone willing to teach me how to hack and how to work around with technology? I can pay, if necessary, and I’m quick learner. [ VERY quick, actually. Which will be very helpful ]

About the coffee shop... I have some experience working in one, but my time will be a little tight when school starts.
[Some part of him really does miss making coffee, but he can't buy really nice beans on a part-time clerk salary...]
audio
And well, if you only want a part-time, I can work with that too. School is important, though, you shouldn't skip because of work.
audio
I don't plan on skipping school, don't worry. I just enjoy brewing coffee, and I've a little training in it. It's kinda relaxing to work in a coffee shop, even if it's only part-time.

I'm sorry, Kaneki. Even if things are fine with her back there, it's still strange to be without ones sibling...
[ Story of her life. ]
( voice )
I will see her again. [ he knows Krull won't be as lucky as Kaneki is ]
( voice )
[ She finds it... not amusing but perhaps curious with that given she can't say the same for herself with her own sibling situation. ]
I hope you do get to see her again then.

I'm sure she would be sad about leaving without saying goodbye.
[audio]
...Do you think she'll return?

I'll willing to lend a hand around the cafe for awhile until you figure out something permanent. My job requires early mornings but my afternoons are free. Maybe this way you'll have to share some of your secrets with me after all. [He chuckles.]
...What are you planning to hack?
audio;
And- actually, yeah, I would appreciate it. I cook in the morning and setting up the coffee shop to open while I have to do the cooking gets difficult. It can be your part time for a bit. [ of course Kaneki will pay him for his work
as for that last question, it leaves Kaneki to smile to himself a bit. "The government" he almost wants to say. ] I just think it's an important skill to have here, like a lot of others. Do you know how to hack?
audio;
Uh huh. [He has a feeling he knows exactly what Kaneki is up too, but he's not going to deter him. He doesn't have an ounce of trust in this government.] Can't say that I do. But if I run across someone who can I'll point them in your direction. If you don't have anyone already offering their services. Just be careful.

You don't have to feel like you owe me, it's my pleasure to help. Though, I'm not sure Mikaela-san would be happy with that, as well. [ Mika doesn't seem to like Kaneki that much, possibly because of Krul. Ken picked on that. ]
audio;
[Without control of the Porter themselves. Yuu's still got that aim somewhere in the back of his mind. Even if it might seem impossible, or extremely difficult at least.]
Huh? Why wouldn't he be happy? He and Krul go there a lot, right?

Like making sure a private conversation doesn't leak out to the entire network at some point in the future. [ like hacking the government too ]

[She deserves a good life. He has no idea how one is possible, given what he knows.]
audio
Hm, it's no problem.
[ there is a pause ]

I'd be interested in helping out, though I must say, I haven't been to your shop before. Would you mind if I stopped by maybe later?
[Also Gansey's an insomniac so the hours aren't an issue.]
Audio
You can drop by whenever you'd like. We can talk for a bit and see what you we can figure out. [ and before he forgets ] I'm Kaneki, by the way.
