[Which kind of isn't fair when you can bend space-time and step through a portal to get to your destination. So as not to startle Kaneki by showing up too soon, Gansey waits 10 minutes, looking around on the Network before getting up and simply stepping through a portal, landing right at the coordinates Kaneki gave him.

He steps through the door of the cafe, a tall handsome muscular late teenager, genial smile on his face as he looks around the place.]

[ the coffee shop is a bit small and it's hard to tell it's a coffee shop at first glance, since it looks more like a place to sell and trade trinkets. Once inside, those trinkets will be obvious: they are everywhere. From a deer head on the wall, to a corner with an old desk with mannequins, re: Café is pretty much like an urban museum, with old and sort of interesting things that give it a strange mix. If that isn’t enough, there are also shelves with a lot of books. They are old, new, used or not, and they are available to all clients. The collection is varied, and all sorts of genres can be found – even a steampunk styled books. Clients can pick them from the shelves, or even trade or offer some new books if they wish to do so - in fact, at a corner there is a pile of books that clients just leave there.

At a corner, there is a door with bold large golden letters saying "PRIVATE AREA". That will be left alone for now, though Gansey will have to eventually know about it too.

when the door opens, the bell rings, which is good to let kaneki know when someone is arriving or leaving. he rises his white head to look at the newcomer. Kaneki is wearing an uniform (those are optional!) and an eyepatch over this left eye, as well as gloves to cover his hands, and he aproaches Gansey with a smile to match his ]

[Gansey is absolutely enchanted the second he enters--the aesthetic is very much up his alley. He's a history scholar, one with a very specific niche true but he appreciates any history. Stories behind objects are very appealing, though his eyes then graze across the book collection. There's a subtle opening of his expression--he appears more boyish for a second or two, wide-eyed and grinning, but then schools his expression into "pleasantly intrigued."

He nods at the other, happily taking a seat at the closest table and content to continue looking around in all directions.]

[ kaneki reaches the counter to grab a menu and a glass of water to offer Gansey, returning after to place them on the table he picked ] Here it is the menu. If you don't know what the dishes are, let me know, I will try to explain.
